Stamford Bridge, Monday, 8pm, live on Sky Sports 1

THERE'S no doubt Chelsea have perked up in recent weeks.

Back-to-back 3-0 wins have restored faith in their Premier League credentials and sent them into the last 16 of the Champions League.

Staying alive in Europe's elite tournament is something Man City didn't manage but in the Premier League they have been almost untouchable.

The sides' meeting at Stamford Bridge promises to be a cracker and it's not easy to pick a winner.

However, I'm tempted to go with City and certainly don't think they'll lose.

The main reason for my confidence in them is the fact the likes of Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Edin Dzeko could give John Terry and whoever plays alongside him the runaround. David Luiz is banned so Andre Villas-Boas has a decision to make.

Chelsea have conceded 11 goals at home so far in seven games and have lost to Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

City are a biggest 2-1 with Chandler while the draw, a result I'm sure would be acceptable to boss Roberto Mancini, is 12-5 with Chandler and bet365.

Chelsea have won three of their last four games 3-0 with the other a 2-0 home defeat by Liverpool in the Carling Cup.

Ddier Drogba has found a bit of form and is 7-1 at boylesports to score first while on-form Spaniard Juan Mata is 14-1 at Stan James.

Silva is often the man for the big occasion and is big at 14-1 with Stan James to break the deadlock and 7-2 (Skybet) to net at any time. Aguero is 7-1 (Chandler) with Dzeko 15-2 at unibet.

City haven't kept a clean sheet in seven league games so it points to one for both teams to score at 8-13 with Ladbrokes, William Hill and others while over 2.5 goals pays 5-6 with Coral.

Chelsea are 5-4 with sportingbet to score at least two as they have done in every home game in the league this season.

But if they play like they can City could well outscore them.

Recommendations

Both teams to score

(8-13, Ladbrokes, William Hill)

Over 2.5 goals

(5-6, Coral)

Silva to score

(7-2, Skybet)

Went ahead with the Bet365 offer and placed £30 BTTS then £30 in-play on Chelsea at 2/1 just when Frank Lampard came on, swithered with him anytime at 8/1 but just went for a home win, typical, still a win is a win!!

Tommo, you’re right a win’s a win. Funny old game, looked City were going to stroll and should have had a penalty for 2-0 then stopped playing.
