TAKE away the games involving Celtic and Rangers and seven of the last eight Premiership fixtures have been draws.

That shows how closely matched “the best of the rest” are and just 13 points separate third from bottom.

So when you consider tonight's four matches they look difficult to call.

Let's start with St Johnstone at Kilmarnock. Saints have the third best away record (behind the Old Firm) having lost just once.

They're tough to break down and I fancy them at 23-20 with Coral to win at Rugby Park where they have lost twice in 10 visits.

Partick Thistle performed well in losing to Celtic and Hearts away but three days after a 1-0 defeat at Parkhead travel to Ross County.

The Jags have lost at home to the Hoops and at Rangers in a hectic spell and in Dingwall have been beaten 1-0 on three of their last four visits.

County are unbeaten in six and can edge it. They are 6-5 with McBookie and 15-2 for another 1-0 and consider Liam Boyce to score at 13-8 with Ladbrokes.

Ian Cathro isn't being given time to settle in at Hearts and the pressure is on to notch a victory at Dundee.

The Jambos won twice at Dens last season and face a side with one win in five. Until Cathro notches a first win it's not easy to back Hearts but one bet I like is on-form Bjorn Johnsen to net at 6-4 with bet365 in what could be a low scorer.

Finally, Aberdeen head to Motherwell on a run of one win in five and with one clean sheet in nine.

However, they have lost one in six at Fir Park and this could be a draw at 3-1 with Marathonbet. Best bet for a goal is Louis Moult at 5-2 with Betfred and Paddy Power.

Whatever you bet on tonight make it low stakes as the wild weather could also play a part.

The very same. He must have showed something at Wrexham for Motherwell to pay money for him.
Has looked decent up here and Well face a fight to keep him.
