ROD (Punting For Fun) notched his second win on the spin thanks to Groningen not to lose and Judd Trump to win in the snooker.

The double paid 1.94 and I defaulted him to five points as he didn't pick a stake.

Long-shot Lee didn't have any joy with his four-timer and is still to land a winner.

Rod and Lee are playing to see which type of betting will profit over the course of the month with £50 of betting vouchers going to Rod if he wins.

Lee's single or accumulator must be a minimum 10-1 and Punting For Fun's can be as short as he wants but must be odds on.

Tips must be posted every day – if anyone misses out Lee will be deducted one point and Punting For Fun five points.

Friday tips will be added to the thread when I see them.

Going for another treble today and hopefully it comes in and more importantly i will try and get all the required information in my post as i was deducted 5 points and quite rightly so if you think about it, this is why you must ALWAYS check you have put the proper and correct details on your bet with your bookie ALWAYS check the betslip before clicking submit !!! as the bookies will not put up with any mistakes after the event starts.

Anyways back to the task in hand and todays bet will be a treble @ 1.99 odds with Stan james and will be a 10 point bet.

RNK Split v Istra over 1.5 goals

Eupen v Antwerp over 1.5 goals

Bnei Lod v Ahi Nazareth, Bnei Lod double chance, (Bnei Lod-Draw).

Punting For Fun, technically you weren’t deducted five points as you didn’t put any stake on it. Also can you put kick-off times up please – I’ll search them out this time.

Glad there are only 28 days in Feb lol still in it after nearly a week :-) but I must say it makes you think and look at more aspects of betting markets.

Mr F have u always liked a punt and could you ever see yourself not betting ever again ?

Punting For Fun, I used to watch fans checking their football coupons at HT when I was a boy watching the Bankies. Was hooked when I won nearly £2k as an 18-year-old at college on 14 results for 50p (remember the old 2 from each section when shops only had one coupon). But yes I could stop betting if I had to – but for me it’s part fun and part work.

Don’t worry now mate they are 1-0 up so there is no value in DC, it’s 1/14 now looks like a good choice

Not quite sure how Lee got 12-1 on that bet.. I can only manage to get 5.92 multiplier at my bookies for the same bet :O

I was thinking the same Shadi…I can only get 6.14 at coral…the same bookie Lee quoted at 13. I know prices can fluctuate, but to reduce more than half?? Hmmmm

You’ll be even more paranoid if Lee’s bet wins!
I wanted to bet it but not at available prices. Would be interesting to hear his take on it.

I personally think he made a mistake.. I checked odd checkers and even with maximum odds throughout the day it’s not even close to 13.. maybe he meant 12-2 ?
