With winners at 16/1, 33/1 and 66/1 it was day for the bookies as the curtain came down on the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.
Punters did cash in on three short-priced winners and no fewer than eight members picked the trio of Lossiemouth (11/8), Galopin Des Champs (7/5) and Impervious (15/8).
But only one managed to pick up a further point in the other three races. That was Ian P who finished the day with his nose in front on 16 points to win Friday's £25 free bet. Well done Ian!
That cleared the way for garyf to cement his place at the top of the leaderboard and win this year's Champion Tipster Competition. Gary was also on the three shorties which meant he wasn't caught and he wins the £100 free bet top prize. Well done Gary!
