Champions League Tips: United prefer to hit the road

THERE'S been two Man United teams this season – one that excels in Europe and one that struggles in the Premier League.

Champions League successes against PSG and Leipzig have possibly saved Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job with his side sitting 15th in the table.

He could do with another win away to Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday after the knives sharpened following Saturday's home defeat by Arsenal.

United have won six Champions League group games in a row and are no bigger than 1-2 to take the points in Turkey.

It's short but United have a 100 per cent away record in the Premier League while winning none out of four at home.

And in the Champions League they followed a superb 2-1 win in Paris with a 5-0 rout of Leipzig – so a combination of playing away and in Europe should be a winning formula as they target a place in the knockout stages.

Istanbul have opened with back-to-back 2-0 defeats against PSG and Leipzig so consider United to win to nil at 7-5 with McBookie.

Chelsea tackle Rennes on the back of a nine-game unbeaten run while their opponents have won one in six.

The Blues have also kept four clean sheets in a row, including two in the CL, so again a win to nil is worth a look at 13-10 with McBookie.
