Champions League accumulator Tips

The second round of qualifying for the 2025/26 edition of the UEFA Champions League will conclude this week, and there are countless matches still in the balance after the first legs.

This week's winners will progress through to the third round of qualifying, at which point the league phase is just about in sight, with the two rounds of qualifying to go from there.

There is British interest in the tournament this week as Rangers face Panathinaikos in Greece with a 2-0 aggregate lead following their win at Ibrox last week.

Ahead of the matches getting underway later in the week, check out this week's Champions League accumulator below.

Panathinaikos to beat Rangers  (7/10)

Rangers should be delighted with their 2-0 first-leg win over Panathinaikos last week, but it wouldn't be unfair on them to say that the result was perhaps a little flattering.

Until Georgios Vagiannidis was sent off early in the second half, there was nothing to split the two teams, and the Greek side certainly created enough to warrant at least one goal on the night. This is a Panathinaikos team that are typically much better on home turf, too.

Back at home in Athens, with the tie still very much alive, Panathinaikos are going to be difficult to keep at bay on Wednesday night, and given that a one-goal defeat would be enough for Rangers, this match should play out like an attack vs defence drill.

Unfortunately for Rangers, they have a manager in Russell Martin whose teams have never been coached well defensively. To compound matters, Rangers have a shocking record in recent away European qualifiers – winning just one of their last eight.

Dynamo Kyiv vs Hamrun – Vladyslav Vanat to score anytime (11/8)

Dynamo Kyiv will feel that they have already won this tie, after recording an impressive 3-0 victory away from home in the first leg last week.

While all of their matches are effectively ‘away from home' due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, they will welcome Hamrun to Poland this week in a match that visitors would probably rather not play.

One person in particular whom they won't be looking forward to playing is Vladyslav Vanat. The 23-year-old netted more than 20 goals in all competitions last season for Dynamo and he ran Hamrun ragged last week after opening the scoring in the early stages of the match.

Copenhagen to beat Drita to nil (23/20)

Another team that will feel that they have already done enough to progress through to the third qualifying round is Copenhagen. The Danish champions won the first leg against Drita 2-0, even if they did need two second-half penalties to get the job done.

Although they toiled for much of the first leg, they also never looked like conceding a goal. Drita only managed one shot on target on the night, and that wasn't a shot that ever troubled goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret.

The Ukrainian champions have kept a clean sheet in half of their lats eight ‘home' qualifiers, which makes 23/20 a good price.
