Bayern Munich's Harry Kane remains the strong odds-on favourite to finish as the Bundesliga's top goalscorer this season.
But the England captain hasn’t been able to shake the challenge of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush in the race for the Golden Cannon in 2025.
Best Bundesliga top scorer odds
Harry Kane 1/8
Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane is still leading the way in the Bundesliga goalscoring chart, but he's on a little bit of a drought, however, not having scored since a hattrick against Augsburg on November 22nd. Kane is looking to win the individual honour for the second season running and injury aside, will be firmly in the mix.
- Betting Tip: Bayern vs Leipzig Under 2.5 Goals 9/4
Bayern lost last weekend for the first time this season, but are favourites to win at home as they tackle the low-scoring RB Leipzig.
Omar Marmoush 11/2
Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush has had a tremendous season and has emerged as the biggest threat to Harry Kane in the top-scorer race. Heading into the final round of action before the winter break, Marmoush is just one behind Kane, with 8 of his 13 league goals coming on the road. He has worked his way into the position of firm second favourite behind Kane, really from out of nowhere.
- Betting Tip: Half Time 1-0 Correct Score 3/1
Frankfurt take on Mainz next, who pulled off a shock home win over Bayern Munich last weekend, but Frankfurt’s scoring edge is likely to get them through.
Serhou Guirassy – 25/1
Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy is a talented forward, but the goals haven’t been flowing. He has just six to his top-flight campaign and he hasn’t netted since November 9th. Because BVB are too hit-and-miss with their form, it’s going to be difficult for Guirassy to catch up in the Golden Boot chase.
- Betting Tip: Draw 13/5
Dortmund have a tricky away match against Wolfsburg who have been in good form recently and BVB could miss out on three points.
Tim Kleindienst – 40/1
A fairly new name in the top goalscorer race is Monchengladbach’s Tim Kleindienst. A goal against Holstein Kiel in mid-December moved him on to nine for the season, with only three players having scored more. Six of his nine goals this season have come from the 61st minute onwards, and has quietly played his way into the frame.
- Betting Tip: Draw 13/5
Mönchengladbach’s form has been hit-and-miss, and they could be stifled on a visit to Hoffenheim
Lois Openda – 66/1
RB Leipzig’s Lois Openda was once the second favourite in this season’s Bundesliga top scorer market. The youngster, who tallied 24 goals in 34 league appearances last season, hasn’t produced the expected flow of goals yet this term, scoring his first since October last weekend.
- Betting Tip: Bayern Munich 1-0 Leipzig Correct Score 35/1
Leipzig have bounced back from some poor form, but a trip to Bayern Munich sees them as big underdogs.
Victor Boniface – 66/1
Victor Boniface has had a steady rather than spectacular season in front of goal for Leverkusen. Boniface was one of the stars of Bayer Leverkusen’s title-winning campaign last season, scoring 14 goals in 23 appearances. His strike rate needs to improve this season to get into the golden cannon race, however.
- Betting Tip: Leverkusen 1 Goal Winning Margin 11/4
Leverkusen have been in rich form recently and could land their fifth win on the spin at home against fellow top-five side Freiburg.
Our Bundesliga top scorer prediction
Kane is a proven goalscorer, playing up front for the Bundesliga odds-on outright favourites. With four goals in three games early in the new season, he became the quickest player in Bundesliga history to reach 50 goal involvements (40 goals, 10 assists), doing so in just 35 games. Given the strength of Bayern, he should have enough to go the distance and edge Marmoush and other contenders, injuries permitting.
