RANGERS fans are enjoying seeing their side sitting at the top of the Premiership but there's no doubt the fixtures computer has been kind to them.

Hamilton, Dundee, Motherwell and now Kilmarnock away has eased them back into the top flight with four games against sides unlikely to finish in the top six.

After struggling to draw with Hamilton in their opener Mark Warburton's men have won two in a row and it should be three at Rugby Park tonight.

Rangers are a best 4-9 with the likes of McBookie and Ladbrokes and I expect them to win by at least that returns 6-5 at Ladbrokes.

Mark Warburton's men won 2-0 at Rugby Park in the Scottish Cup last season and another 2-0 is possible at a biggest 15-2 at 888sport.

New signing Joe Garner is expected to make his debut after arriving from Preston and is 19-20 to net and 15-4 to score first.

Killie are a best 13-2 at Betfred but have shown little to justify faith even at that price. The draw pays 19-5 at McBookie.

Recommended Bets

  • Garner to score 6-5 (William Hill)

Have had a mad week at work but off tomorrow so not even looked at what’s been on apart from live footie.
I thought that was someone trying to sell me something – it’s been life insurance this week.

I watched it Greg, thought it was excellent never realised Maggie thatcher was at the cup final in 1988 haha! Next week episode should be good as well, talking about the ludicrous money clubs were spending back then, however your club never seemed to fall into that trap always been really well run

Never realised she was there either mate! It’s not often the BBC produce the good when it comes to Scottish football but they have here

Spot on, so mms clubs were chasing the dream and paying , wages they could never in a million years afford

Step Forward Gretna, Motherwell, Dundee, Livingston, Hearts, Dundee United and Rangers to name a few!

Gretna was a complete shambles, offering to pay off players mortgages etc! We lost quite a few players to Gretna and Livingston on the basis they were prepared to pay players £2000-3000 a week! We knew we couldn’t afford it so didn’t pay those wages, hence why we are probably one of the best run clubs i Scotland and have cash in the bank!

Got family in Livingston and used to go to Almondvale for games when they were paying ludicrous wages to the likes of David Fernández!
