PETERHEAD have netted nine in two games and Dunfermline 10 in their last two outings so there should be goals galore when the League One rivals clash at Balmoor today.

Dunfermline have been bookies' biggest basher this season and it was good to latch on to their form early.

I backed them antepost and they've been my Super Single the last three Saturdays in one form or the other.

It's difficult not to back them again today but I've resisted the temptation on the evidence of their last two wins against Stranraer and then Falkirk in the Challenge Cup in midweek.

A 4-0 victory at Stair Park was impressive but their 5-3 rout of Championship Falkirk was stunning with striker Rory McAllister hitting all five. As we all know McAllister should be playing at a higher level but he's happy to play part-time football and have a career to fall back on and that's lucky for the Blue Toon.

McAllister has hit nine this season but Pars have their own diamond up front in the shape of Moroccan Faissal El Bakhtouai who has scored in every match this campaign. In fact he'd bagged two a match until only managing one at Forfar in midweek.

So everything adds up to goals in the match, probably four at least, and I'm starting the treble with the match in the north of Scotland.

My second pick is Aberdeen v Dundee. Greg Browning has backed the Dens men to score and in Greg Stewart, Rory Loy and Kane Hemmings they have a superb attacking trio.

Aberdeen also have good frontmen and it would be a surprise if they drew a blank. I reckon the Dons will edge it but the last three meetings between the sides at Pittodrie have been score draws.

Go to England to complete the treble with Walsall v Coventry. Walsall's Tom Bradshaw isn't as hot as McAllister and El Bakhtouai but he has netted four in four games including a cup hat-trick against Nottingham Forest.

Bradshaw can give Coventry plenty of problems but Tony Mowbray's side have started with three wins out of three and sit top of the table so I can see both scoring.

Both to score treble

Walsall v Coventry
Aberdeen v Dundee
Peterhead v Dunfermline
(9-2, Betfred)
