Swansea City v Leeds United
Skybet Championship, Kick Off 19.45, August 21st. Live on Sky Sports.
GOALKEEPER Erwin Mulder had to wait 408 days to make his debut for the Swans but fans and manager alike have him to thank for a point gained in Friday's 0-0 draw away to Birmingham as the Dutch keeper kept the home side at bay despite a first-half onslaught.
It was a game in which I expected goals and had one come in that first half Swansea would almost certainly have shown more attacking ambition. In reality they were happy to sit back and take a hard-earned point, failing to even register a shot on target.
Given Birmingham's dominance it could be seen as a decent result to not have lost the game but Swans manager Graham Potter will undoubtedly be looking for an improved performance on Tuesday night against high-flying Leeds especially in an attacking sense.
Marcelo Bielsa has enjoyed a great start to life at Leeds, guiding his new team to four consecutive wins. Nicknamed “El Loco” the eccentric Argentine's appointment represents something of a gamble but early signs are positive and Leeds fans will be excited by the attacking prowess on display with 11 goals scored in the first four matches.
Kemar Roofe represents good value to score anytime, the striker has three goals in three league games this season.
