MY main bet of the night was on the Top Treble and I was delighted it landed without a sweat.
Two points at 5-2 for a 5pt win on AZ, PSV and Juventus gives me a chance of at least breaking even on the accumulators by the end of the week.
There's not much to look at on Thursday with the main games being the final two Spanish Cup quarter-finals. Gary Neville's Valencia head to Las Palmas after a 1-1 draw at the Mestalla and Sevilla take a 2-0 lead to second division Mirandes.
Neville has yet to win a La Liga match and you get the impression the only thing that's saved him for an early sacking is the cup run. However, he must fear the worst having failed to beat Las Palmas at home.
The Gran Canaria islanders haven't been too shabby in recent weeks and have been scoring plenty of goals. Fifteen of their 18 league points have come at home while we know Valencia aren't great travellers.
I can see Las Palmas, 2-1 underdogs at boylesports, at least drawing and Las Palmas draw no bet pays 21-20 at McBookie. Both meetings this season have finished 1-1 at the Mestalla so both to score is another bet to consider at 4-5 with McBookie and Ladbrokes.
Sevilla shouldn't slip up in the other tie and are 17-20 with Betfred to win but I always worry about sides who don't need anything from the game.
In the Dutch league it's Roda against a Utrecht side who have found some form and are 11-10 at McBookie and Betfred.
Feyenoord take on Heerenveen having lost three in a row so look too much of a risk at 4-11. Heerenveen lost 5-2 in Rotterdam in October but interestingly have drawn on five of their last six visits to De Kuip – three of them by 2-2 and two 1-1s.
So best bet here is both to score at 9-13 with 888sport or over 2.5 goals at 1-2 with Coral. Heerenveen's last six have gone that way and averaged just below five a game.
Having flagged up the goals at Feyenoord and saw Greg's comment saying he fancied over 3.5 I'm putting up over 2.5 goals plus both to score at Las Palmas in a treble with Utrecht not to lose. There's much else to look at anyway.
Utrecht's Seb Haller has netted four in four and is 7-5 at Stan James to score at any time.
I've been considering a Super Single all morning and considered Utrecht, Heerenveen not to lose and Las Palmas draw no bet but in the end I've decided not to put up anything on such a small card so it's one bet for me today.
