I GOT three out of four right on Tuesday night – but unfortunately didn't call Man United right.
I tipped the Reds to qualify for the Final but never for a minute thought they'd get it so easy away to Schalke.
At least my recommendation for first goal after 28 minutes at evens came up.
Elsewhere I predicted a decent double in the SFL of Ross County at Queen of the South and Clyde at Elgin.
I also went for Stoke to beat Wolves and backed Kenwyne Jones at 5-1 to score first.
The big game on Wednesday see Real entertain Barcelona for the third time 11 days.
I'd never say I was getting fed-up of meetings between the sides but the first two have hardly been El Classics.
Real haven’t lost yet, drawing in the league then lifting the Spanish Cup in extra time.
Jose Mourinho has blunted the threat of the likes of Lionel Messi by playing Pepe as a midfield enforcer and Barca must find their way through two rugged lines of defence.
Real showed they can match their rivals for flair with Saturday’s 6-3 win at Valencia and they seem to be oozing confidence. I can see this being another draw which should set up Barca to seal it at home but Pep Guardiola's men won't be helped by the news midfield genius Andres Iniesta is out.
The fact Chandler go 7-4 on both teams to win the first leg shows how tough a call it is and I'm edging towards the draw at 12-5 at bet365.
To qualify it’s Barca 8-15 (bet365) and Real 7-4 with Ladbrokes.
Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are both 9-2 to score first with Ladbrokes while Karim Benzema and David Villa are 7-1.
Both sides' goals in the league were from penalties so really neither side has scored from open play in 90 minutes in the last two meetings. This points to it being under 2.5 goals and that pays 4-5 at totesport.
The other game on Wednesday sees Fulham entertain Bolton. Again this is a tough one to call but I think Bolton, buoyed by the weekend win against Arsenal, will avoid defeat.
They are a biggest 7-2 with Hills but a draw is more likely at 12-5 (various) while Fulham are 10-11 with Coral.
Daniel Sturridge won us money with the opener against Arsenal and is 7-1 with Ladbrokes to break the deadlock again.
Andrew Johnson, who sscored with his first touch after coming on at Wolves on Saturday, is 6-1 with Ladbrokes and Hills.
I can see both teams scoring and that pays 10-11 with bodog, Coral and Hills.
Recommendations
Barca v Real under 2.5 goals
(4-5, totesport)
Fulham v Bolton both to score
(10-11, bodog)
