GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS can clinch play-off victory tonight but have to do it without crocked star man Steph Curry.
The reigning NBA MVP is out for at least two weeks with a knee sprain suffered in game four against Houston Rockets but his team are still hot favourites to get the job done tonight.
Warriors – who lead 3-1 in the series – are 2-9 at Unibet for the decisive win while the Rockets are 4-1 at Paddy Power for an away victory.
The night's other two other play-off games are pivotal with both ties locked at 2-2 as Miami Heat host Charlotte Hornets while LA Clippers welcome Portland Trail Blazers.
At the snooker World Championship the quarter-final action winds up with John Higgins and Mark Selby both 5-3 up against Alan McManus and Kyren Wilson respectively.
There's also plenty of tennis if you fancy a punt so let's hear all your sporting tips and chat and good luck with your bets.
Anyone with a few bobs of loose change might want to have a go at Leonard Floyd being the first outside linebacker to be drafted.
Took him at 7/1 last night with Ladbrokes. Now 11/2 with the same firm and 6/1 with betway.
Myles Jack is the better prospect and is projected as the top OLB in this year’s draft but with a questionable knee, teams may well pass on him. Obviously there are a lot of smoke screens at this time of year with the draft round the corner, but at 7’s or now 6’s, I think Floyd is worth a shout.
Jack blew his knee out and reports are not clear on how well he has rehabbed whilst some reports suggest his knee is a “ticking time-bomb”. You look at Jaylon Smith in this year’s draft, before he blew his year out, he was a dead cert top 5/10 pick, possible 1st overall. He blew his knee out, and he is projected to go in the 2nd day. Other examples include Marcus Lattimore and Maxx Williams in previous drafts.
Do think this has a chance but Darron Lee from Ohio State could also be a decent bet. Jack obviously the favourite but his injury might make him slip down a bit.
Said I wasn’t going to have a bet in the playoffs again but can’t pass on this. Blake Griffin and CPIII will not play another game in the post-season even if the Clippers advance. However with them out, Portland have been gifted a chance for a second round birth, albeit against the Warriors I’d imagine. Without Paul the Clippers are bad enough. DeAndre Jordan isn’t as effective as he doesn’t get as many touches (lobs) in the paint, and Griffin out is one more thorn in the Clippers post-season.

After a couple of rough nights, its time to bounce back.
Rockets @ Warriors.
The Warriors are without their star man, but Curry or not, they’ll be hot tonight.
I don’t need to educate anyone on how dangerous the Warriors are at home, they lead the series 3-1, and the last thing they’ll want is to go back to Houston without Curry, this series ends tonight. Expect a double digit win.
Golden State Warriors -9 @ 1.90 (Bet 365) – 2 Points.
I also have some thoughts on the Blazers @ Clippers game, I’ll be back with that later….
@dazzler thanks pal i was on yo bet.keep them coming.
I’ll do my best ?
Blazers @ Clippers.
Warriors will be routing for Clippers to pull off a win against Portland, and drag the series out… and you know what, I think the home team can pull it off.
What happened last time Clippers were without Redick, Paul and Griffin?… Clippers pushed Thunder to the wire, and lost by just 2 points.
Griffin has already missed loads of games this season, so no big loss. Chris Paul is obviously a blow, but It’s a huge motivation for the likes of Crawford to step up again, lose this game and you can pretty much wave bye bye to the playoffs. It’s massive.
Let’s also not forget that Blazers are not a great road team, 16-27 (37.2%) all season, and most notably getting blown out by the 76er’s by 25 points.
Clippers arent out of this yet, and whilst you might veiw losing their stars as a hindrance… it’s a massive opportunity for other pro’s to step up.
Pick – LA Clippers ML.
No money down yet, as i might get a better price later.
Also adding:
Miami Heat -5 @ 1.90 (PP) – 2 Points.
Good luck.

“Swoosh! An thats the game!” ?
I knew for a fact when Raoul said he will post his thoughts later he was going to bet the Clippers. Clippers lost against Aminu the other night with Lillard and McCollum quiet. Chances they are quiet again are slim. Like I say Jordans only effectiveness will be on the glass as he won’t get lobs from CPIII. Also if Portland win here they know they’ll be able to seal the series at home next. 50/50 but I have my reasons too ;)
raoul and jordan yus have totally split me on this 1 lol ,clippers have been good t me in past ,my heart says clippers my head says trail blazers,
