RANGERS lifted their first piece of silverware on Tuesday and can follow the Championship with their first Petrofac Training Cup success.

They tackle League One Peterhead at Hampden and the Blue Toon are off form after back-to-back defeats against Forfar and Cowdenbeath without scoring.

The sides have met four times with Rangers winning three of them to nil and losing the other. To win Gers are no value at 1-8 with boylesports but win to nil has a chance at 4-5 with McBookie.

That's how the title was wrapped up against Dumbarton as Mark Warburton's men won 1-0. The Sons' goals though led a charmed life and it should be more convincing tomorrow so consider Gers -2 AH at 5-6 with McBookie.

Finding value is so tough but James Tavernier has been back among the goals and hit the title clincher. The defender is 5-1 at Coral to net again.

Harry Forrester has also been in good nick since joining and is 11-2 at bet365 to hit the opener.

Peterhead will find this tough but they have a quality striker in the shape of Rory McAllister and he has netted before against Rangers. He is 11-2 with Coral to net at any time.
