BOTM Coral1

OUR bookie of the month Coral are reporting heavy interest Watford and Fleetwood ahead of the big kick-off.

Coral say they have seen plenty of support for a number of teams across the English leagues, most notably, Watford in the Championship and Fleetwood in League Two.

The Hornets are now 10-1 (from 14-1) to run out victorious in the Championship but they face a tough ask with QPR (6-1), Reading (8-1) and Bolton (8-1) all looking solid at the top of the market while my picks Wigan are 12-1.

It’s 4-1 Gianfranco Zola’s side are promoted this season and they finish the season with 74 points or more.

Coral spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “The Championship is a very competitive league and any team in the top half of the outright betting are capable of beating each other. However, that doesn’t mean that Watford won’t go on to have a successful season, we just feel their price is short enough and perhaps their best chance of promotion could be by means of the play-offs.”

Fleetwood on the other hand have been one of the best supported lower-league sides in the lead-up to the new season, now 7-1 (from 14-1). Graham Alexander has used the close season very wisely to strengthen his squad and Coral quote 13-8 for Fleetwood to be promoted and 11-8 they gain 80 points or more.

In League One, Kenny Jackett is charged with the task of turning around Wolves' fortunes around. It’s 7-2 for Jackett’s side to bounce straight back up to the Championship as League One champions and 8-1 they win their opening three league matches.
