ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS is 3-1 with Ladbrokes to guide Chelsea to Champions League glory within the next three years.
But the bookies don't expect him to see out his contract at 1-3 (2-1 he does) and it's 5-6 he wins a trophy in his first season in charge.
It's 5-1 he beats his old club Porto in the Champions League in his first season.
After huge plunges for Marco van Basten, Harry Redknapp and Guus Hiddink the bookies were happy with his appointment which was a winning result.
Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Donohue said: “We're over the moon with this appointment after three front runners were backed off the boards. The move for Villas-Boas was paltry in comparison.
“We don't expect him to last his contract despite having a decent chance of collecting some silverware at the first attempt.”
William Hill, however, offer 9-4 on Villas-Boas being so successful that he will still be boss in 2015. They go 25-1 he'll be gone before the end of this year and 10-3 he will be the man finally to bring the Champions League trophy to Stamford Bridge.
Hills are also betting on who the new man may bring to the club and offer 4-1 Porto star Hulk will arrive, with Falcao a 7-4 chance.
