Later this afternoon, it’s Rangers vs Dundee at Ibrox as Gers return to league action following their excruciating Scottish League Cup final defeat to Celtic. In a game that was eventually settled on penalties, Rangers will need to pick themselves up to ensure they don't fall further behind their old enemy in the title race.
With Celtic not playing until tomorrow, Philippe Clement's side have the opportunity to put a tiny bit of pressure on the Hoops by cutting their lead to eight points today.
Their opponents, Dundee, are currently in midtable but have lost just one of their lats four matches so it's not going to be a walk in the park for Rangers.
Ahead of kick-off, here are three Rangers betting odds that are worth considering.
Which Rangers betting odds today offer the best value?
Hamza Igamane to score first (4/1)
Hamza Igamane has largely played a bit-part role at Rangers since signing for the club in the summer but given his performances over the past few weeks, it is bemusing that he hasn’t played a larger role.
Igamane has easily been one of Rangers’ best players over the past month and was their standout performer against Celtic last weekend
Although Igamane didn't score in the cup final, he has netted five times in his last six appearances for the club and will be their biggest threat at Ibrox this afternoon.
Rangers to take over 7.5 corners (4/6)
Given that Rangers are expected to have the majority of the ball on Saturday, they should have plenty of corner opportunities providing they don't ease off the gas if they take an early lead.
Given they have real quality from wide areas, Clement's side do naturally attack down the flanks which also lends itself to corner opportunities. They have taken 34 corners across their last four matches and two of those were games against elite competition in Celtic and Tottenham.
If they play to that average (over eight corners per match), then this bet is a banker.
Nicolas Raskin to be carded (7/2)
The bookings market is all the rage this weekend with punters trying to pick out players who might be looking for a day off on Boxing Day. For Rangers, there is only one candidate who could get himself that day off and that is Nicolas Raskin.
The Belgian midfielder has picked up five Premiership bookings so far this season and a sixth would earn him a one match suspension. Could Raskin be on a flight back to Belgium for Christmas by 8pm tonight?
