Bryan Mbeumo next club odds

Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo has been enjoying a blistering season for Brentford so far, racking up eight goals in just 11 appearances. As expected, a lot of interest in the 25-year-old has arisen off the back of his impressive performances.

With the January transfer window right around the corner, bookies have opened up the market for the marksman's next club. The current Premier League leaders appear to be the favourites.

At 6/1, it is Arne Slot's Liverpool who appear to be leading the race to sign Mbeumo. Although potentially touted to stay at the Gtech Community Stadium, adding to the Reds' frontline appears to be the most likely destination if he were to move.

However, with no clear favourite emerging among a host of top Premier League clubs, it has become clear that Thomas Frank's most prized possession is in serious demand, with any number of clubs looking to snap him up in January.

Current favourites if Mbeumo leaves

Liverpool – 6/1

Already top of the table with nine wins from their opening 11 matches, adding Mbeumo to the Liverpool attack would be simply frightening. A total of 21 goals in 11 games does not lie, and the inclusion of the league's second-top scorer would only further that tally.

However, the difficult question of Mbeumo's place in the team would be tough to answer. Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz have been in scintillating form this season, with 14 and seven goal contributions, respectively. Competition for places can be healthy for a top team, but it may come at the expense of game time for one of the players. There is no doubt, though, that adding Mbeumo would be a positive signing, and at 6/1 Liverpool seem good value to deliver for punters.

Arsenal – 8/1

A disappointing start to the season has seen question marks raised over Arsenal's offensive capabilities. Goalless in two of their last four league games, the Gunners may be looking to add some fresh talent to an attack that may be becoming predictable. A recent injury to Bukayo Saka has also not helped Mikel Arteta's team.

At 8/1, Arsenal certainly have a chance of snatching Mbeumo away from their rivals. With their frontline the thinnest of their title competitors, they would be an excellent pick for punters, who should back the Gunners to pick up the Cameroonian.

Tottenham – 10/1

Outsiders for Mbeumo's signature, Spurs have emerged as a potential suitor for the Brentford man. Currently 10th in the table, under-pressure boss Ange Postecoglou may be looking to add some more firepower to his attack.

However, with a goal difference of +10, scoring has hardly been an issue for Spurs, and their unfortunate results have sometimes occurred rather as a result of their defensive frailties. With Heung-Min Son and Brennan Johnson also both nailed to the starting lineup, it would be unlikely that they would desperately need to add Mbeumo to their squad in January. Thus, Spurs remain an outside pick to secure the winger at 10/1, and are not a good value choice.
