Our Super 6 Scores challenge predictions
Man Utd vs Brentford
Given United's strong record against Brentford at Old Trafford but their struggle to score more than once, combined with Brentford's consistent scoring and lack of clean sheets, a 1-1 draw seems likely. The statistics for both teams support a balanced outcome, with goals expected from each side in this fixture.
- Score 1-1 at 9.0 with Bet365
Newcastle Utd vs Brighton
Newcastle, despite a mixed home form, have seen both teams to score land in five of their seven games. Brighton, ranked seventh in away xPTS, have scored in every away match this season, including a draw at Arsenal. Given their past record at St James' Park, where they've drawn seven of 13 meetings, a 1-1 draw looks likely.
- Score 1-1 at 8.5 with Bet365
Fulham vs Aston Villa
Villa's recent dominance over Fulham, winning five of the last six meetings, suggests another win. Despite some fortunate results, their form has held up with a record of W4, D2, L1. Fulham's strong xPTS which sits them second in the Premier League, won’t be enough against Villa's proven record and focus ahead of their Champions League match. Expect a tight 2-1 victory for Villa.
- Score 1-2 at 12.0 with Bet365
Bournemouth vs Arsenal
Arsenal should be too strong for an improving Bournemouth. The Gunners boast an impressive head-to-head record of 11 wins to just two losses. While Bournemouth has had some success this season, they’ve struggled against teams outside the bottom five. Arsenal’s defensive prowess and strong form against lower-ranked opponents will ultimately secure them the victory.
- Score 0-2 at 9.5 with Bet365
Wolves vs Man City
Man City are likely to beat Wolves, given Wolves' poor form (W0, D1, L6) and defensive struggles, conceding 21 goals this season. Despite Wolves scoring in six of seven games, City’s strong away form (W5, D2, L0) and scoring two or more goals in 11 of their last 13 away games suggest a comfortable victory. City have struggled for clean sheets this season though, so we expect Wolves to oblige with a goal.
- Score 1-3 at 11.0 with William Hill / Bet365
Liverpool vs Chelsea
Liverpool are poised to beat Chelsea, having won nine of their 10 games this season, including six of seven Premier League matches. Boasting the best xPTS and xGA and losing just three games from their last 40 home Premier League games, their form is formidable. Chelsea's away struggles give Liverpool the edge. Both teams should get on the scoresheet.
- Score 2-1 at 9.5 with Bet365
The total odds for all six games is a massive 911,344 with Bet365, which may be is worth a £1 stake for some fun, but I am keen to back Man City to win 3-1 and Arsenal to win 2-0 which is a much more realistic 104.5 with Bet365
