After delivering winning selections on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, SlipsTips shares a Bet Builder ahead of Aberdeen's clash with St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Aberdeen vs St Mirren (Sunday, 15:00)

Both seeking to build on their opening weekend Scottish Premiership victories, Aberdeen and St Mirren square off at Pittodrie on Sunday afternoon.

After a fair bit of soul-searching last season, the early signs are positive as Jimmy Thelin’s start as Aberdeen manager has largely been a positive one.

The new Dons boss guided his side to four wins from four in the Scottish League Cup before making a winning start in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-1 win over St Johnstone.

St Mirren are also ticking along nicely, having comfortably dispatched Hibs 3-0 last Sunday, not to mention they are unbeaten in three Europa Conference League qualifiers this season so far.

Aberdeen head into this clash as general 10/11 favourites but I’m instead going to opt for Bet builder at the same price.

The combination of over three Aberdeen corners and over one St Mirren card holds plenty of appeal at 10/11 on Bet 365.

While the Jimmy Thelin era at Aberdeen is still in its infancy, the hosts have been relatively prolific on the corner front across their five matches under the Swede's stewardship so far.

The Dons racked up a combined total of 32 flag kicks across their four Scottish League Cup group games – an average of eight per-game – and they earned seven at McDiarmid Park against St Johnstone on Monday night.

Despite their 3-0 success against Hibs last Sunday, Stephen Robinson’s side shipped eight corners, so a minimum of four should be within reach for an Aberdeen side that will be fresher and have home advantage for this contest.

To wrap up the 10/11 (Bet 365) Bet Builder , I’m also prepared to back the Paisley Saints to pick up a minimum of two bookings at Pittodrie on Sunday afternoon.

The Buddies were shown three yellow cards at home to Hibs last Sunday, not to mention they have racked up nine cautions across their three Europa Conference League qualifiers to date, including six at home to Brann on Thursday night.

With that in mind, coupled with the fact that this Bet Builder would have proven profitable in each of the pair’s opening two Scottish Premiership matches of the season, supporting the same formula in the Granite City on Sunday merits support at shade below even-money.
