ENGLAND are just one more win away from the final of Euro 2024 but even the most blinkered of fans will admit Gareth Southgate's side have reached the semi-finals more by luck than design.
They've needed late goals to force extra-time in both their knockout ties and the Three Lions only got past Switzerland in the last eight thanks to a penalty shoot-out triumph.
The English now face a Netherlands side with more talent than any side they have faced so far in Germany this summer.
The Dutch have blown hot and cold but when they've been on top of their game they have looked an impressive outfit.
After blitzing Romania in the last 16, Ronald Koeman's men then had to show character in the quarter-final as they came from behind to beat Turkey 2-1.
That makes them dangerous opponents for England and Southgate's side will need to produce their best display of Euro 2024 to reach a second successive final in this tournament.

Netherlands v England Top Betting Tips
Koeman's side have been good value for corners so far, racking up 30 across their five games. That's nine more than England have managed so backing the Dutch for most corners appeals here at 23/20.
This looks like a 50/50 game for me so I'm surprised to see England as Betfred's 8/11 favourites to reach the final. The Netherlands are evens in the same market and that looks decent value given they've have performed better so far at Euro 2024.
The half-time draw came up in three of the four quarter-finals, although the only game it failed to land in was the Dutch's clash with Turkey. I still think it's a good option tonight but the odds aren't great at 5/6. Combining that with under 3.5 goals in a bet builder boosts the odds to 11/10.
We could see a few cards in this one with so much at stake. The midfield battle could be feisty and Kobbie Mainoo looks good at 4/1 to be carded if the Manchester United kid starts for England again.
Uruguay v Colombia Top Tips
There's also a Copa America semi-final to feast on in the early hours of Thursday morning and Colombia's clash with Uruguay should be a cracker.
Marcelo Bielsa has got the Uruguayans ticking again and his trademark style of football usually produces plenty of thrills.
But it was all about character in the quarter-finals as his side managed to shut out a star-studded Brazilian side before edging a tense penalty shoot-out.
Uruguay now face a Colombian side who have also impressed so far and Betfred can't separate them in the betting, with both sides at 5/6 to reach the final.
The half-time draw is the same price too but there's better value in the card market. In what should be a tense and tight match the referee could be busy and over 52.5 booking points pays 11/10.

Spain should comfortably beat tonight’s other semi finalists in the final on what I’ve seen in this competition.
Don’t think Holland have the tools to keep them out and England have only beaten a poor Serbia in 90 minutes so far.
Alcaraz has now to play an extra game as djokovic opponent today has pulled out but I’ve just seen footage of djokovic doing some some shuttle runs and he looks far from 100% and has heavy strapping on his bad knee.
