Best Wimbledon Predictions Today
Here are our top betting suggestions for day four of Wimbledon as the Round of 64 is underway.
Zverev -5.5 Handicap vs Giron @ 4/5
Alexander Zverev has had a standout season with wins at the ATP 1000 Masters in Rome and a runner-up finish at the French Open, making his mark on clay. However, Wimbledon's grass courts have historically proved to be a bit challenging for him.
Despite this, Zverev started strong with a straight-sets victory over Roberto Carballes Baena 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 in the first round. He has maintained a remarkable 37-11 win-loss record this season.
On the other hand, Marcos Giron has struggled on the ATP Tour, he suffered first-round exits in tournaments and has failed to bag a title this season. In his Wimbledon history, Giron has never made it past the second round.
Giron has a 15-16 win-loss record in the season and had to rally for four sets to get past Henry Searle in the first round. Given their current form and track record, Zverev is be the clear favourite in this matchup, even with a handicap.
Swiatek vs Martic – Total Games Even @ 10/11
Iga Swiatek's win in the first round at Wimbledon extends her impressive winning streak to 20 matches. She's shown incredible form across all surfaces this season, highlighted by her recent third consecutive French Open title and victories in Madrid and Italy.
Swiatek is currently dominating the WTA roster. This year marks her fourth appearance at Wimbledon, with her best previous performance being in the 2023 quarter-finals. She boasts an outstanding 45-4 win-loss record for the season and started Wimbledon with a solid 6-3, 6-4 win over Sofia Kenin.
Comparatively, Petra Martic has had an average season with a 10-14 record and no titles. She's typically seen early exits in tournaments, with her most recent notable performance being a semi-final appearance in Makarska.
Martic battled through a tough three-set match against Francesca Jones in the first round to set up a clash with Swiatek in the second. Swiatek holds a commanding 3-0 lead in their head-to-head matchups, and based on current form, Swiatek is most likely to dominate in straight sets.
Djokovic vs Fearnley – Total Games Under 29.5 @ 5/6
Novak Djokovic is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world and has maintained this stature for an exceptionally long time. However, this season has been somewhat challenging for him, with no titles to his name halfway through the year and a couple of injuries affecting his play.
Despite these setbacks, Djokovic's dominance at Wimbledon is undeniable, with seven titles to his name. Although he hasn't played on grass since his French Open exit, he started his Wimbledon campaign strong, defeating Vit Kopriva in straight sets in the first round. Djokovic currently holds an 18-6 win-loss record this season.
Jacob Fearnley, a rising star in tennis, secured a wild card entry into Wimbledon. Though his only ATP tournament appearance this year was in Eastbourne, where he lost in the first round to Billy Harris, he's been making waves in lower-tier events.
In the first round of Wimbledon, Fearnley convincingly defeated Alejandro Moro Canas in straight sets. However, going up against Djokovic is a different ball game, and a victory seems quite unlikely for him at this stage.
We expect Djokovic to finish the match in under 30 games.
