Scottish Tips: Best Bets at Inverness, Ross County and Stirling Albion

CALEY THISTLE produced a brilliant win last week against Raith Rovers and look a solid shout to beat Queen's Park this week in Inverness.

Duncan Ferguson looks like he's had some shrewd dealings in the transfer window and loan signing Alex Samuel helped himself to a hat trick last week in Kirkcaldy.

Defensively, they managed quite a coup by capturing long-standing Dundee full back Cammy Kerr on loan and Scotland Under 21s stopper Jeremiah Mullen should be a really good addition at this level – he was arguably Scotland Under 21s' best player on the park when they beat Belgium last year.

They won at Ayr United recently to end a sticky patch and lost a last gasp goal to Dundee United when they probably could and should have won it.

Queen's Park have also improved under Callum Davidson, but lost a huge game to Ayr last week with Sean Welsh sent off and suspended against his old club on Saturday.

STIRLING ALBION might be lively outsiders to beat Cove Rangers at a big price of 13/5.

The Binos hammered Kelty Hearts last week 5-0 at Forthbank and that was after they went to Montrose and won 1-0 too. Darren Young has done a very good job there with them.
Cove lost at home to Queen of the South last week and were taken to extra time by Highland League Brora Rangers in midweek.
