ARSENAL have suffered just one blip on a near-flawless Premier League campaign and they will be gunning for revenge on Manchester United in what could be a double whammy for them
A win for the Gunners at the Emirates would put them 11 points clear of United with a game in hand and surely end any lingering thoughts of a title challenge from Old Trafford.
And it would also banish the ghosts of a painful defeat to a United side that had started the season poorly back in September. It was Arsenal's last loss in the league.
All season, Arsenal critics have suggested they will fold when they have to face a huge games, but they rammed that right down their throats last week with a superb win at arch-rivals Spurs, where they had to withstand an avalanche of pressure at the end and held firm.
They have yet to play Manchester City in the league and that's probably why they are not yet huge odds-on to win the title yet despite having a commanding advantage.
United undid their excellent work after their comeback win over Manchester City by conceding a last gasp equaliser at Crystal Palace which ended a run of nine wins in a row in all competitions.
But there's no doubt they are a real force again under Erik ten Hag.
How the bookies view it
Arsenal are odds-on everywhere and the best you can get on them is 17/20 with Paddy Power, but they are as short elsewhere as 4/5.
Manchester United can be backed at 16/5 with bet365 and the draw is 27/10 with William Hill.
Recent head to heads
United won 3-1 at Old Trafford in that early season meeting which is Arsenal's only defeat of the season in the league.
But Arsenal have won three of the last four meetings in the Premier League at the Emirates.
Players to watch
Martin Odegaard has come up with plenty of vital goals this season including at Spurs last week and the captain is 3/1 to net against with bet365.
Bruno Fernandes scored for the second game in a row in London in midweek and the Portuguese playmaker is 11/2 to score again on Sunday with William Hill.
Anything else catch the eye?
Arsenal will be desperate for revenge here and they will be considerably boosted by the fact influential United main man Casemiro is suspended.
Mikel Arteta's side proved they had what it takes to put down a real marker last week and, let's be honest, had it not been for a dubious and controversial equaliser last Saturday, United may well have lost to City at home.
Without the protection offered by the Brazilian, United look vulnerable and the hosts can score one than one goal too at 4/5 with William Hill.
Scott McTominay could be the man to come in to replace Casemiro and the Scotland star loves a tackle. He is 19/10 to be booked at UniBet.
