STIRLING ALBION look a cracking bet at 17/20 to see off Bonnyrigg Rose in League Two when the sides meet in East Lothian.

The Binos were frustrated last week when their top-of-the-table clash with Dumbarton fell foul to the weather, but they'd been on a good run previous to that.

Stirling went to Elgin City and won just before Christmas and followed that up with a home derby win over Stenhousemuir.

They should be fresh having not played this year yet and have been boosted by a pair of key signings.

Dundee United kid Kai Fotheringham saw his loan deal extended and he's been in fine form and they were also able to bring in experienced striker Greig Spence who previously was at Hamilton, Alloa and Raith Rovers.

They should compliment Robert Thomson and Dale Carrick who have been rattling in the goals for Albion this season.

They play a Bonnyrigg side who are now bottom of the league and were absolutely taken apart at home to Albion Rovers last week.

And they should have too much for the league new boys at New Dundas Park.

LIVINGSTON look too big at 21/10 to win at St Johnstone.

David Martindale's side continues to motor along nicely under the radar and a win in Perth would put them fourth, ahead of Aberdeen who are on League Cup semi-final duty.

They went to Dingwall last week and a Bruce Anderson masterclass saw them ease aside Ross County to end a run of three draws in their last five games.

The West Lothian side have a settled team and are nearly always underplayed in terms of bookies' prices.

St Johnstone are going through a dismal patch recently and last week's tame defeat at Aberdeen was their fourth loss in a row. Callum Davidson's side have won one in seven and seem to be struggling.

Livi need to be winning games like this to clinch a top six place and they can get the job done.

ALBION ROVERS also look overpriced at 21/10 to win at Stranraer.

Manager Brian Reid insisted they were due to give someone a hammering after last week's 4-0 win at Bonnyrigg, which could and should have been even more emphatic.

They have an excellent young prospect in Charlie Reilly and Joe Bevan looks like an exciting addition from Camelon Juniors.

Stranraer actually lost at Bonnyrigg and also lost at Stenhousemuir last week and the Coatbridge side looks a big price.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • STIRLING ALBION 17/20
  • LIVINGSTON 21/10
  • ALBION ROVERS 21/10
