It is a straight shootout for second place as AC Milan host RB Salzburg in their final Group E fixture in the UEFA Champions League. The Rossoneri are generally solid at home and should have the upper hand over Salzburg, who often struggle on their travels in Europe.

Although that was only their first Champions League defeat this season, Salzburg have only claimed one win in the competition. They are still in with a chance of progressing from the group and a win on Wednesday will see them through.
One thing that does not bode well for RB Salzburg ahead of the trip to Milan is their poor away record in the Champions League. Matthias Jaissle’s men are winless in their last six away matches in the competition, a run stretching back to September 2021.
