Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction and Betting Tips

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR will be looking to get their Champions League group stage campaign back on track when they travel to Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday night.

Antonio Conte’s team marked their return to Europe’s elite club competition with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Marseille, on a night where my recommended bet landed in North London.

However, the Lilywhites suffered a 2-0 loss in Portugal at Sporting Lisbon on matchday two and they can ill-afford a similar performance at Deutsche Bank Park.

Oliver Glasner’s side will go into this game in good spirits after claiming the scalp of Bundesliga leaders Union Berlin in a 2-0 success on Saturday, a result that saw the Eagles rise to fifth-place in the table in the process.

Despite winning each of their last three matches across all competitions, Eintracht Frankfurt enter this fixture as 13/5 (Bet 365) underdogs while the draw is also deemed unlikely at 5/2 (Bet 365) with the same firm.

Tottenham, who are facing Frankfurt for the first time in three decades, arrive in Germany as 21/20 favourites with Bet 365.

Betting Angles

It’s difficult to have complete trust in Tottenham at the aforementioned price but backing the visitors to score two or more goals looks like an enticing alternative at even-money at PaddyPower.

While Spurs have made a mixed start to life in Group D, Antonio Conte has a plethora of excellent attacking players that should pose the hosts with plenty of problems.
