THE standout fixture from the English Premier League on Saturday comes from Elland Road as newly-promoted Leeds square off with star-studded Man City
I've penned a separate match preview on site for this showdown and like most I'm expecting goals to flow in West Yorkshire,
Having said that, my favourite fancy from this fixture is card angle, namely, the 6/5 on offer with Bet 365 for Leeds to receive over one card in this clash.
No team has covered more yards than Leeds this term and Marcelo Bielsa's side have also made the most tackles across the division – the Whites racked up 33 tackles away at Liverpool during their curtain-raiser – the most by a visiting Premier League team at Anfield since Jurgen Klopp took charge.
Given that Leeds play with such high-intensity, coupled with Man City's wealth of attacking talent, I'm more than happy to back the hosts to collect over on card in this contest.
With an open and entertaining contest expected at Elland Road, there is plenty potential for cynical fouls, not to mention card-happy referee Mike Dean will be the man in the middle for this mouthwatering meeting.
Dean has regularly topped the disciplinary lists over the years and given that a lively encounter looks likely, two or more Leeds cards looks too good to pass up on at odds-against of 6/5 with Bet 365.
