ON the opening weekend of the Premier League the game I looked forward to most was Liverpool vs Leeds and that lived up to its billing.
If you had to pick one game to watch this Saturday it would be Leeds vs Man City and it will be interesting to see if the promoted side can play as well as they did against the champions.
Leeds have been involved in two 4-3s already this season and armchair fans would be in heaven if they contributed to another thriller.
The other Premier League games are Chelsea vs Crystal Palace, Everton vs Brighton and Newcastle vs Burnley and I've posted a preview with tips so check it out. My goals treble is reasoned there.

Possible bet for October
Watford to beat Reading 27/20
I was last on here just after Reading had beaten Derby at Pride Park on the first weekend of the Championship saying how impressed i was with their performance. I also touched on how their home form was the 2nd worst in the league last season, and it would be interesting to see how they faired against Barnsley at home in their next game. They won 2-0 but Barnsley were reduced to 10 men on 42 mins, and then 9 after another red card mid-way through the 2nd half. I t was a hard fought victory in the end which made me believe they could be backed against at home with potential match changing team news.
Their next game was away to Cardiff where there was really big team news as John Swift was left out of the squad, unknown to us why until a couple of days ago he was declared out for the rest of 2030 with a hamstring injury and anyone who knows the Championship knows he is a top player and will be a massive miss.
Mid-way through the 2nd half in the Cardiff game came the key news i was waiting for, Lucas Joao, who is well known to be injury prone went off with a dislocated shoulder. Joao for me is their key player, without him they struggle immensly, he had scored 4 goals in the last 5 games and a couple of assists.
An added bonus was the deputising right back Felipe Araruna also went off injured who had been covering for the already injured Andy Yiadom. This will leave Reading with real problems in that position, possibly having to rely on academy players to cover on Saturday.
Watford have Ismaila Sarr back after he started in the 1-0 victory over Luton on Saturday. Totally dominating that game which they should have scored more.
Their game against Boro was a hard earned victory but they did have alot of first team players missing. The Sheff Wed game they were average first half but really improved 2nd half only for the Wednesday keeper to keep them out with several excellent saves.
What i noticed in the Luton game was partnership of Sarr and the Brazilian forward Joao Pedro who seems like a very good player. I see them causing real problems for defences in the Championship this season.
A few key points for my bet
-Reading have only won 2 out of the last 12 home games
– Lucas Joao possibly out ( main key point)
-John Swift out for coming months for Reading
-Watford have won the last 3 matches between the clubs
-Sarr and Joao Pedro partnership
If the players for Reading mentioned aren’t on the team sheet ( Lucas Joao is key player) on Saturday and also Sarr is playing for Watford ( Premier league clubs sniffing around him this week) and with the added bonus of no John Swift and Reading being without a first team right back i think this will be an outstanding opportunity to catch the bookmakers out at 27/20.
●●Just incase anyone is interested there is another match today that i have had jotted down for the last month and was likely to be my bet for the month until i heard of the Lucas Joao injury.
I mentioned last season and also at the begining of this season how Salford are very different animal when they are away from home and how they draw alot at home and win away, their last 13 games only 4 have went against the tendancy of the home draw/away win. They have won 5 from 7 away from home in 2020. They did the double over Stevenage last season, my February bet was Salford to bet them which i put on here. The reason they were going to be todays bet was they had players missing last week with Covid19. Salford 2+ team goals was very likely to be the bet at 11/10 or 23/20 for the away win was also very tempting.
Decided to take Salford 2+ team goals as my bet for this month. They have been my go to team for the last 2 seasons it just feels wrong to not go with them, as much as i have maximum confidence in Watford.
Stevenage still have 3 players self isolating so will miss the game. Salford have so many options up front and with Ian Henderson already settled and scoring for fun, James Wilson, Thomas-Asante, Tom Elliotand then imo they have the best player in the division in Ash Hunter in midfield who is more than capable of finding the net himself or setting up the forwards.
This bet should be a very short price imo, tremendous value in odds against for today for 2+team goals.
