WE'RE being advised to undertake essential travel only so that must mean Europa League away trips.
Five British clubs are in Europa League action on Thursday as they visit far-flung places such as Latvia, Macedonia and Israel while fans are stuck in their armchairs.
Surely it's safer to sit outside in a football ground than on a plane but that's one for the politicians to sort out.
Four Scottish sides – Celtic, Rangers, Motherwell and Aberdeen – are in action as well as Spurs.
Celtic are massive favourites at Riga while Spurs are expected to see off Shkendija as long as they put out a decent line-up.
Rangers are just under evens at Willem II while Motherwell and Aberdeen are huge underdogs away to Hapoel Beer Sheva and Sporting Lisbon.
It could be a glory night or a gory night and I've posted thoughts on the games involving the Brits and that's where my Top Treble is reasoned.

As well as my Top Treble I've picked out a goals treble starting with over 2.5 goals at Milan vs Bodo with the Norwegians capable of scoring having hit 21 in five and their last 15 matches have gone over 2.5 goals.
Milan's goalscoring strength has been hit by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who netted a double against Bologna on Monday, being ruled after testing positive.
Add both teams to score at Djurgaarden v Cluj and over 2.5 goals at Bayern vs Sevilla.
Other sides I fancy to win are Galatasaray at home to Hajduk Split, Malmo at home to Lokomotiva Zagreb and Copenhagen at home to Piast Gliwice.

Willem II haven’t been in Europe for 15 years. Rangers haven’t lost any of the 17 qualifying games under Gerrard and more or less the same starting line up tonight got to the last 16 of last seasons competition. So I don’t think 3/1 is a big price especially considering they only got into Europe due to the league being called early. I jumped on Beer Shava as soon as Hills priced it up as 5/6, way too big in my opinion (8/11 is the best price now, but thats still a great price). They are a decent side with plenty of Euro experience in recent years and Israel is a tough place to go for most sides. Motherwell are playing better now domestically but Europe is different and this is a jump in class compared to the likes of Colraine. The no crowd effect is the only thing in favour of Motherwell but I don’t think it’ll be enough.
H. Beer-Sheva to beat Motherwell at 5/6 is a confident bet for me.
I’ve also had a smaller bet on the Israelis winning and scoring more than 3 goals at 11/1 (exchange price).

I guess it depends on the Slovakia football league standard vs Austria. I am going to stick with the -1AH. Friday – Twente v Groningen
I think the price for the home win is too big. I just can’t see Twente losing this game. Twente won their first game this season 2-0 and got a point at Feyenoord at the weekend in a 1-1 draw. Twente have a decent attack of Cerny, Menig and Danilo who are all from the Ajax academy. They scored a goal each this season.
Groningen surprised with the signing of Arjen Robben this summer, joining his local team where he started his career. He was injured after 30 mins in the first game against PSV which Groningen lost 1-3. He will not be available in this game. Last season Groningen was one of the lowest scoring sides in the league only scoring 27 goals in 26 games. Bottom team RKC had the same amount of goals scored. In 13 away games last season Groningen scored more than 1 goal in only 2 away games. They also lost their main goalscorers from last season and I don’t know where their goals are going to come from. Against PSV they were gifted a goal by a howler of the PSV goalie and last week against Den Haag (0-1) they won because of an own goal.
Groningen midfielder Hrustic is one of their best players, but he is trying to force a transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt. I can’t see him giving it 100%
