LEEDS impressed everyone with their opening-day display against champions Liverpool but this clash with fellow promoted side Fulham will give us a better idea of how their season will pan out.
Marcelo Bielsa's side came from behind three times at Anfield to come close to a surprise draw, only for a late Mo Salah penalty to condemn them to a 4-3 defeat and bring up all of our man Scott Allot's tips.
Their fearless brand of football had fans dreaming of a memorable return to the top flight but that optimism was tempered a little in midweek when Leeds crashed out of the EFL Cup on penalties to League One Hull.
However, Bielsa fielded a shadow side for that game and will be confident of bouncing back with a win over Fulham when his main men are restored to the starting line-up.
The Craven Cottage side started with a dispiriting 3-0 loss at home to Arsenal but then managed to see off League One opposition in the cup as they edged a 1-0 win over Ipswich.
Star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic grabbed the winner after being left on the bench for the league opener and boss Scott Parker will be hoping he can punish Bielsa's suspect defence.
How the bookies view it
Fulham have been written off and are 5/1 to win, which seems overpriced given the game is behind closed doors and between two promoted sides. The draw is 3/1 at Unibet while the best price for Leeds is 8/13 with Bet365.
Those odds aren't very appealing but increase to 13/5 with the same firm if you double a home win with both teams to score.
Recent head to head
Honours were even between these sides in the Championship last season, with Leeds winning 3-0 at Elland Road (below) and Fulham running out 2-1 victors at Craven Cottage.
There has been nothing between them in the last five years, with the seven games before that producing five draws and a win apiece.
Team News
Skipper Liam Cooper could return from injury to bolster the Leeds defence while Fulham new boys Alphonse Areola, Kenny Tete, Mario Lemina may feature again after making their debuts at Ipswich.
Players to watch
Patrick Bamford has his critics but the Leeds striker took his goal superbly at Anfield last weekend. He also netted in both games against Fulham last season so is a worth a punt for anytime scorer here at 29/20 with 888Sport.
Mitrovic is even better value at 47/20 with the same firm and that's tempting if the big Serb is fit enough to start again. For a good long-odds option, Mitrovic is 11/1 with Paddy Power to score a header.
Anything else catch the eye?
Both teams to score came up for Scott Allot at Anfield and looks like being a go-to bet for Leeds all season. It's a decent 19/20 here with Bet365.
There were over 2.5 goals in both games between these sides last term and a repeat here is also priced 19/20, this time at 888Sport.
Leeds scored in both halves at Anfield and are a tempting 15/8 with William Hill to do so again in this match.
