LAAFY (3.40) should have underfoot conditions to suit and is worth supporting in the 1m 4f handicap at Ascot.
Sir Michael Stoute's gelding was never happy on fast ground at Glorious Goodwood and is better judged on his earlier second to Deja in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock (soft). Defying top weight in this competitive contest is no easy task but as long as the track doesn't dry out too much he rates a knocking bet to beat the likes of Look Closely and Labeebb.
KASER (5.25) ran out a very easy winner over course and distance at Haydock in July (soft) and can defy a 9lb hike. The gelding was always travelling strongly in the mud, albeit against some lesser rivals, and there should be more to come following a nice break.
