WOLVES have impressed in their first European campaign since 1980 and a victory over Slovan Bratislava would all but seal their place in the last 32 of the Europa League.
Since losing at home to Braga in the Group K opener, the Molineux men haven't put a foot wrong, winning on the road in Istanbul and Bratislava.
Doing the double over the Slovakians back in England would move Wolves five points clear of Slovan with just two games to play and more or less secure a top-two finish, with Besiktas bottom of the section without a point.
The bookies certainly fancy Nuno Espirito Santo's men to do the business, with a home win a best 2/5 with Coral and Slovan as big as 11/1 with Unibet.
That price is a bit insulting, given the loss to Wolves is Slovan's only defeat in the last 10 games, a run that has seen them claim seven wins.
The Slovaks also drew 2-2 away from home against group leaders Braga so they're far from pushovers. The draw is 4/1 here and that may attract a few speculative bets while Slovan are 61/25 in the double chance market.
While I doubt Jan Kozak's men will head home with anything to show for their efforts, I do fancy them to score at Molineux, which is 21/20 with Marathonbet. Our man Scott Allot successfully tipped both teams to score in Bratislava and a repeat here doubled with a Wolves win appeals at 13/5 with Paddy Power.
Slovan have netted in all 25 of their games this season so they should get some joy against a Wolves defence that has conceded in their last five matches since a stunning 2-0 win at Manchester City.
With the bookies more or less writing the Slovaks off, most of their players are available at good odds in the anytime market. Andraz Sporar netted at home against Wolves and has nine for the season overall. The Slovenian is 4/1 for anytime scorer here with Paddy Power while Brazilian Rafael Ratao offers a bit more value at 6/1 with the same firm.
Molineux gaffer Santo has fielded strong sides in the Europa League and should do the same here, although Diogo Jota is suspended after his red card in Bratislava.
Italian striker Patrick Cutrone could come back in for this one, having watched from the bench as his side claimed a 1-1 draw at Arsenal on Saturday. The former AC Milan forward is 7/5 with Bet365 to net at anytime and that seems a good price.
Things got a bit heated in Bratislava last time out, with five players picking up yellow cards in addition to that sending-off for Jota. Slovan's Jurij Medvedev has collected three yellows in eight European outings this season so try backing him for a card at 15/8 with Bet365.
