AFTER three quiet nights football is back with a bang as we're faced with 10 Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are all in action and all face tough away trips.
I've posted a Euro 2020 preview and check out the match previews including Russia vs Scotland and Friday's Czech Republic vs England tie.
Value isn't always easy to find on these games but I've picked out a treble which is reasoned on my preview.
Russia just to win are in there because I believe they should be shorter. I don't particularly like the same team on both lines but in this case if they both go down it's means Scotland have notched a fine result so I'll happily be broke.
Anyone who doesn't like Russia on the second bet could swap them for Kazakhstan or Kazakhstan +1 at home to Cyprus. I've mainly left them out because it's the early kick-off.
Well done to all the winners on Wednesday including Scott who returned from holiday by tipping over 2.5 goals at Germany vs Argentina at 17-20.

The total goal minutes market looks to be a good way of squeezing value out of Belgium San Marino. When Russia defeated San Marino 9-0 they had a total goal minutes value of 530 minutes after a second half capitulation by San Marino. Belgium probably won’t go full strength but still their total goal minutes should go beyond the 370 asked by Bet365 at 6/5.

Bet365 bet builder “claims” to give better/enhanced odds on selections. Looking at the Russia game, I couldn’t believe to be stung massively. Let me explain

yes means they can sneakily pinch more value. you really should do try do do as little multiples as you can and use an overound calculator if you want to fight the bookies and be sure they arent conning you.
You’re confusing me a bit with this Russian striker talk – who is the striker?
The BetBuilder you then quote over 1 Russian goal.
they are doing you, however its not as much as you think. for instance throw a treble together using those odds (4/5, 9/2 and 1/1) and it comes out at just under 17/1
Also, if one element of a bet builder is voided (e.g. say you pick a player to score the first goal, and that particular player remains on the bench), then the ENTIRE bet builder bet is voided and they return your stake – even if all the other elements come in.
In contrast, if you do a conventional ACCA and one section is voided, the ACCA still pays out but at reduced odds (the voided element being treated as if it didn’t exist)
You can’t expect single bet odds of Russia over 1 goal and a named Russian player to score to be accumulated as they are directly linked. Hence the shorter odds.
Anyone know why bet365 have marked Australia over 3.5 team goals as a loss even though they won 5-0?

Few thoughts on the RWC in light of the announcement to cancel games this morning due to the super Typhoon “Haggis” (Hagibis). For such a well run and received tournament, this is terrible planning and should never happen. Arrangements should have been made to move matches to other venues and have the matches played. Safety is paramount for all but this could be planned for. While the Italians can feel aggrieved to have their match against the All Blacks channelled, they would never beat them and were going out. England v France cancelled robs fans of a sensational match and doesn’t help either apart from more rest time for the Quarter Finals next weekend. The main threat here is that the Scotland v Japan game is cancelled and in that scenario we are out of the World Cup when the game is there for us to win. I hope this goes ahead because if it doesn’t and that happens then World Rugby will not recover any time soon from the bad publicity!

Scotland have gone out of World Cups in almost every way possible but this is a new one.
Hope it’s played and also feel for the fans who travelled out there. My wife’s best pal and her family saved up for ages and have gone out to watch their son play and support the team and they’ll be gutted if it’s off.
It is a crazy situation and one that should have been considered in the years leading up to it. Even the suggestion that they’ll make a call on Sunday morning is simply not good enough. Hopefully our game goes ahead but the damage has already been done with cancelling 2 other scheduled games.

Do people find international football more suited to how they bet?
The qualifying competition seems predictable a lot of the time.
I read quite a few winners here tonight and if people have a knowledge on international nations I think it goes along way . And perhaps more straightforward to bet even more than league football
