Mr Fixit’s Scottish Cup Final Preview: Hearts vs Celtic

CELTIC are on the verge of history and I don't see them slipping up at the final hurdle today.

Neil Lennon's men will clinch an unprecedented treble Treble by beating Hearts at Hampden – and it's unlikely to be matched.

Nine trophies in a row is an incredible feat and Celtic are just 2-9 with BetVictor to lift the trophy.

To win in 90 minutes they are better value at 4-11 with McBookie with Hearts 8-1 with Ladbrokes and a draw 4-1 at Betfred.

Celtic lost 1-0 at Tynecastle back in August but have beaten their rivals five times in a row since.

That included a 3-0 Betfred Cup semi-final win at Hampden and a 5-0 Premiership romp.

The Jambos have struggled to score since Steven Naismith was injured and also have doubts over the fitness of Uche Ikpeazu.

At the end of a season that saw tributes paid to late Lisbon Lions Billy McNeill and Stevie Chalmers it would be apt if the treble Treble was sealed exactly 52 years after the European Cup triumph by No.5 Jozo Simunovic and he is 20-1 to score first and 8-1 to net at anytime.

The Jambos have lost four out of five and netted just four times in that period. Their best bet for a goal could be penalty taker Sean Clare at 12-1.

If Celtic score early they could win convincingly. I fancy them -1 at evens with McBookie and -2 has a chance at 3-1 with Betway. Potential correct scores are 2-0 and 3-0 at 6-1 and 5-1 respectively.

Celtic are 21-20 with McBookie to be leading at half-time and full-time and 6-5 to net in both halves.

Willie Collum's the ref and every chance of a red card at 10-3 with McBookie. He's given nine this season and booked 156 players in his 49 matches including 4+ in three of his last six games.

Meanwhile, St Mirren entertain Dundee United in the second leg of their Premiership play-off final after the sides drew 0-0 at Tannadice.

I tipped a scoreless first half and a draw at full-time and it was tight as expected.

There were plenty of chances but some great saves and last-ditch tackles kept the scoreline blank.

Bookies still can't split the sides and Ladbrokes make both 5-6 to be playing in the Premiership.

To win tomorrow the Buddies are 31-20 with BetVictor while United are 2-1 at mcBookie while I can see another draw at 47-20 with Marathonbet..

That would mean extra time and the possibility of penalties and to win by that method you can have either side to win on penalties at 10-1 with William Hill.
