Top Football Tips

THERE are a couple of big nights ahead with loads of games to choose from so let's hope we all pick the right ones.

In the Premier League the four games mostly affect sides at the wrong end of the table with Wolves looking the best bets at Huddersfield.

There are four games in the Championship including Leeds at off-form QPR where Greg will expect a late goal.

In Scotland there are 11 lower-league games and I've posted a Scottish preview. The top two in the Championship meet with Ross County evens to beat an Ayr side with two wins in 11.

Dundee United draw no bet and Peterhead are also mentioned in the preview and to complete a Top Treble I'm on Wolves at Huddersfield. Wolves are just under evens which tempts against a side that's lost 14 of their last 15.

The only thing going against Wolves is they sometimes struggle against poorer sides but there's no point in the home men being cautious as they are all but down so the visitors should get chances.

I've also picked out a Scottish goals treble starting with btts at Dumbarton v Raith. It's been 4-2 and 5-2 to Raith this season and while they should win Dumbarton have hit form with 10 goals scored in a four-game unbeaten run. Last season it was 3-3 and 2-3 at The Rock.

Add over 2.5 match goals at Berwick v Annan and Elgin v Queen's Park. Berwick have conceded 17 in five and have lost 3-0, 4-0 and 4-0 to Annan this season. Five of Annan's last six have gone over 2.5 goals and they've netted 12 in four.

Elgin's last six have gone over 2.5 producing a total of 26 goals while Queen's have netted in their last five and could contribute to the tally. Both meetings this season have gone over 2.5 goals.

Elsewhere there are cup games in France and Italy and Scott has posted a Lazio v Milan Coppa Italia preview so check it out.

Well done to all the winners yesterday. I called it right at Forest v Derby but was let down badly by Sporting failing to net at Maritimo despite dominating.

For the Super Single I'm going with Ross County and the reasoning is on my preview.

It was one of those nights for me in my Irish league treble. My tip of the evening Derry city came up at a fantastic price, unfortunately that could not be said for the other two games. When Shamrock Rovers went down to 10 the both to score was always going to be against me and in terms of the St Pat’s game neither side could managed a shot on target the whole game.

I’m a massive Evertonian and although I have no selections for tonight’s football I thought I’d cover the Everton game in a bit of detail.

It’s been a shocking season for Everton this year and to be quite honest I’ve lost interest. Our season over in January again and the millions spent looking more and more wasted. Silva looking a beaten man on the side line and to be perfectly honest I’d of sacked the clown weeks ago. The loss to Millwall at the Den in FA cup was when I personaly had enough. Silva has only managed 3 wins in last 10. One of which was against Lincoln in the cup and the other 2 coming against poorer opposition ( Huddersfield and Bournemouth )

We come up against a Cardiff side who are just off the back off a complete thrashing by Watford. As much as they will be looking to bounce back they couldn’t score in a brothel with a pocket full of twenty pound notes.

In regards to team news for us, from what I’ve heard Mina is out injured and Zouma is serving a one match ban whilst Baines and Jagielka return.

As poor as we have been I expect that 2 week break we have add to make a difference. This game won’t mean much to most Evertonians but for Marco Silva its massive in terms of his future at this club.

    Betting tips for game

-Everton to win at – 11/10
    -Richarlison First Goal – 4/1
    -Everton to win 2-0 – 17/2

    NHL tonight:

Tampa Bay – Los Angeles -draw i regulation
Nashville – Edmonton – draw in regulation
Colorado – Florida -draw in regulation

All these games went to overtime and I was lucky enough to get this draws inplay..
Actually they looked very tight even Tampa haven’t had a draw with L.A. since 2014
Nice profit at last, this time on icehockey ✅✅✅

    Tomorrow difficult British mishmash…

Looking at the Sky booking specials in the EPL. It is 9/1 for 40 + booking points in each game — but if you do them separate in an acca it is over 14/1 with the same bookie.
That is what i will be on .

    • Avatar of danny higgins
      cockerspaniel 6 years ago

Same applies in 30 + booking points . Just over 2/1 in the specials. and over 3/1 backing them separate.
I think this has a good chance and i will be on this one as well.

    • Avatar of danny higgins
      cockerspaniel 6 years ago

Long shot .20 + booking points each team in each game EPL 58/1 . Again much better odds if bet individually than with the Skyspecials.

    ❗❗READ❗❗

    〽️NAP Reasoning⚠️

3 games that appear to have goals NOT listed for their reflective prices but that’s usually the case with bookmakers pricing BURNLEY and HUDDERSFIELD up like that every week with2.5 prices like 6/4 and 17/10 etc

one thing you can be sure of with the 2 of them is they concede

Huddersfield are winless in 12 with 24 goals against them and only a 0-0 draw with Cardiff
think my reasoning for that selections speaks for itself and wolves have scored their last 5 in a row and unbeaten with 1-1 draws with Bournemouth and wolves

Burnley up next against Newcastle, now burnley can score but they have conceded 48 which is 14 more than Newcastle. Burnley have conceded in 5 in a row and Newcastle scored 4 in a row with only 1 loss again Tottenham. Newcastle last 5 saw them score 8 and concede 3. Decent price to justify for me.

Last trip is a national league south and Heavy favs Torquay visit Thurrock. Need not say too much here as any footy fan will know. Top v 2nd bottom
Torquay score 69 and concede 29 after only 30 games!!!
Scored 18 in their last 5 and concede 10
ET score 24 goals in 31 games and concede 44 which is terrible.
2 goals at ¼ is VALUE

its time for TUFC again, and midweek magic at east thurrock!
an excellent 5-2 win against dulwich hamlet on saturday, napped by me at 2/1 (win/over 3.5 goals), coupled with a defeat for our nearest (only) challengers for the title, woking means we are esconsed in pole position with 12 games left, a point ahead plus a GD 14 better. still a long way to go, and trips to both woking and billericay to come, so its far from over. woking themselves face a long trek down to cornwal to face truro city this evening, with a fiver ticket offer, there could be a larger than average crowd roaring them on as they strive to stay clear of relegation, truro DC btts interests me at a healthy 19/10??

anyway, on to more important matters, east thurrock away, tonight! the home team havent scored in 5/6 matches recently, their one win coming at eastbourne, they are in the relegation spots, six points from safety. with 11 to play. they don’t seem to concede a huge amount these days, just five goals over those six matches with three clean sheets.
our fire power is well known with 69:29 our stats over the 30 games this season, but if you take off the dour owers era at the start the stats look even better, altho our inability to keep many clean sheets still concerns me, as when we face the better sides who can halt our potent strike force then this could prove costly? tonight shouldnt be one of those nights tho, and we should be able to keep a clean sheet for once. the win is only 30/100 so not much worth backing there except in accas. win to nil interests me at 21/20, i’m not overly confident of a hatful of goals for the men in yellow tonight, but i’m going to recommend it anyway, as both reid and janneh notched two each on saturday, to bring their combined total to 36 league goals! my nap will therefore be torquay -2 at 12/5 with betway

doubled up with the other NLS game for a tasty 10/1!

    good luck people

the future’s bright, the future’s yellow!

    good luck tonight

    BURY VS. PORTSMOUTH:

Anyone who follows my Shakers posts will know why I’ve gone for this one and whilst there’s ‘easier’ looking options, I think these represent cracking value if our cup talisman starts:

Certainly far more exciting than text book Rogers who despite his success is a right boring git and doesn’t offer any controversy

Couldn’t make it up that it’s Hearts away Lennon’s first game ( if ihe is in charge by then)

Already highlighted Naismith yesterday at 11/4 to be booked and today’s events add real extra spice to what will already be a tasty match

Hi all really going to try and get more of my tips posted and contribute more to a site i have used almost daily in one way or another for the last few years. Love how much the site has developed and grow long may it continue. Thanks to everyone who contributes and does the writes ups winners or not its add to the fun of the pre bets. My first tip is Sheffield Wed draw no bet at 6/5 on Skybet can’t really see any negatives to this bet. Brentford have improved in recent weeks but on the road they hold a shocking record of only one away win all season. Sheffield wed since Bruce has come in look a lot more solid and seem to be able to see out games a little better then before. At home even with a rocky season they have only lost 3 times and go into this 7 unbeaten in the championship. I could see a draw but with that covered with the draw no bet i really don’t see any downfall and at the odds on offer its more then good value in my eyes good luck all.

    Goodluck all👍

Your health is your wealth 😎

    Hull v millwall✅
    93/50 ladbrokes boosted price NAP

Poor run the past week or so, so going for match goals for the nap today. I’ve picked 3 games that I think have the potential for the home side to score 2+ or btts. Hopefully it pans out that way.

    Porto o1.5tgs✅
    PSG o2.5tgs✅
    8/5 bet 365 NB

Nice 96th min equaliser for Lincoln brings in the NAP and then 2 goals in a minute from PSG and porto lands the NB. I pointed out all 3 games in the nap could see btts, hopefully someone had bigger cojones than me and backed that

been a couple of no bet days for me. I said i’d be avoiding the FA Trophy replay between Maidstone and Stockport with it being an away replay, but that wouldn’t be surprised if County won… they’ve gone and smashed Maidstone

    0-3 to County

Would’ve been excellent odds on the away win. This result is more in line with what I was expecting them to do at home last weekend.

Sets up Saturday’s game up nicely, County sit in 2nd place, and take on another team on great form, Spennymore who are sat in 3rd place.

I’m going to wait for the markets to open on this one but i’m likely going to go for Both Teams to Score, and possibly County draw no bet depending on the odds.
