IT was a quiet Monday but well done to everyone who picked a winner with Greg continuing his fabulous form.
For me it was a no-bet day as on days I'm working at the Record I don't have much time to research leagues I don't usually look at.
It's not really an appetising week and on Tuesday the main games are in the National League and the EFL Cup. The National League isn't my strength but I've checked out form and stats in the RFO in the morning and picked out teams to win or draw (double chance) or either +1 on the handicaps.
I'm starting with Fylde not to lose at home to Salford. Fylde sit third and are unbeaten while antepost title favourites Salford are mid-table after a difficult start.
It would be interesting to see HullShaker's thoughts on this as he is a well-known Fylde follower and won plenty on their goals last season. They haven't been as prolific this campaign with 13 goals in eight games including two 0-0 draws.
In fact followers of Sky Bet goals specials tonight may look at the stats and see fewer goals in the league than usual. For example leaders Wrexham have netted 13 and big-spending Salford 12 despite having Adam Rooney in their ranks.
Next up it's Boreham Wood not to lose at home to Chesterfield and best bet here is to check the preview posted.
Third up it's Harrogate not to lose at Gateshead and this is maybe the most risky leg. Harrogate sit second and have started brilliantly with four wins and four draws and are top scorers with 16. But Gateshead have won three out of four at home and drawn the other so this will be a big test.
Finally back Hartlepool not to lose at home to Barrow. Pools have started well with one defeat in eight while Barrow have taken just one point from 12 on the road.
My fourfold is picked without knowing team news and low stakes are advised. As I said I'm no non-league expert but have studied form and stats.
Later in the week the UEFA Nations League kicks off and anteposts have been put up as well as a video on how it all works and it's worth a look.

Just a Quick info regarding the danish national team wich is playing slovakia away on wednesday in a friendly, and Wales home on the 9 sep in the nations league . There is an dispute between the danish football association and the players, wich now have led to the national coach has gone on vacation, and the Likes of Eriksen, schmeichel as I stands now will not be playing, the association have send letter to each club in the superliga asking wich players will be available, some players have said that this will be there only opurtunity to ever get an international game, but the fact is these players dont stand a chance in the coming games. Of course as it is an political situation things can change quickly. I expect both slovakia and Wales to com out on top it things stat the way they are now.

Roughly defined, I can split my footballing career into 2 halves: the Lancashire days and the Yorkshire days…alas I was never good enough to play at professional level but I did have a few trials in both counties.
This match features two of those sides I had trials with pitted against each other…nestled way up on the East Coast of Yorkshire you can almost smell the tang of the sea and the taste of vinegar in the air.
‘Scabby’ are rising back up the league and it’s great to see – I spent a few years living there and have fond memories – not only is is it the first place I ever caught crabs but I also watched the team play regularly at their then home The McCain Stadium.
Their upward thrust sees them meeting a Ferriby side on the opposite trajectory after a couple of seasons where the chips were certainly down and I can see it being another long season for the side from the banks of The Humber.
Goals aplenty in The Villagers recent games and with 5-3-5 across the last 3, there’s every chance that a Scarborough outfit who hit 3 last time out might exploit a seriously troubled Ferriby defence.
