MAN CITY have shortened to win the Champions League after a favourable group stage draw.

Bet365 have cut them from 5-1 to 9-2 to lift the trophy, while the firm have pushed out both Liverpool, ManUnited and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus – currently the worst result in their antepost book.

Spokesman Steve Freeth said: “It looks a dream draw for City while all eyes will be on the red half of Manchester when Ronaldo makes a mouth-watering return to Old Trafford.

“We’d seen bundles for Juventus (16-1 into 6-1) on the back of Ronaldo signing for the Old Lady but we’ve eased them slightly on the back of the draw.”

Bet365 are also betting on how many English clubs make it through to the knockout stage with three at 6-5 and all four at 11-8.

Group A: Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, Bruges.

Group B: Barcelona, Tottenham, PSV Eindhoven, Inter Milan.

Group E: Bayern Munich, Benfica, Ajax, AEK Athens.

Group F: Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon, Hoffenheim.
