SAROOG (4.40) is fancied to supplement his recent Goodwood success over 1m 6f when tackling the same distance at Sandown this afternoon.
Ryan Moore takes the ride on Saroog, a two lengths winner from John Gosden’s three-year-old Surya, conceding a thumping 18lb. The seventh horse at Goodwood, Smashed, was beaten 26 lengths but made almost all to score at Chepstow on Tuesday evening.
Surya came out to bolt up at Newcastle last week and Saroog is fancied to beat Zeelander, up another 5lb after chasing home Framley Garth at York. Similarly, The Secrets Out has been handed an extra 9lb for a runaway Newmarket victory.
MICHELE STROGOFF (5.15) keeps finding one too good and it was the same old story last time at Redcar when nailed close home by Dawaaleeb. He might get his own way in front in the concluding lady amateurs’ handicap, with Mick Appleby employing the services of top French jockey Barbara Guenet.
SAVING GRACE (3.45) goes to Doncaster with a winning chance. Luca Cumani’s filly was given quite a bit to do when held up at Haydock, eventually running on into third behind shock winner Morning Beauty and odds-on Sacred Path. Saving Grace had earlier landed a Lingfield maiden from John Gosden’s Hameem, subsequently runner-up in a Class 3 novice stakes at Newmarket where one of today’s rivals Snax was six lengths behind in fifth.
BROKEN FORCE (6.15) seems to enjoy racing round the bend at Haydock, with his front-running style making him hard to catch. Karl Burke’s three-year-old built on a course third to Garden Oasis and Ad Libitum by thumping Quoteline Direct (winner since) six lengths before finding Sir Mark Prescott’s unexposed Matchmaking just too strong at Yarmouth (pair drew well clear).
Broken Force was trying to concede 8lb to the winner and Rhona Pindar takes off 7lb. She’s relatively inexperienced and if going off too fast wily old Franny Norton will be waiting to take advantage on in-form Juneau, despite giving away lumps of weight. Juneau looked all over the winner in an apprentices’ contest at Windsor on Monday evening, only to be run down by outsider Couldn’t Could She. Her earlier narrow victory over Groveman was boosted when the runner-up won well at Bath on Wednesday.

I think this horse is over priced. If you put a line through it’s last run when outclassed in a Group2 at Ascot it’s 2 previous runs were very good. I think the race will be run to suit with plenty of trailblazers taking each other on. It’s the outsider of the field but 2nd best on ratings behind Channon’s other runner- what’s interesting is the fact that Charles Bishop as won twice on that horse but sticks with Barbill. Good Luck.
Morning all. Had a few days away making most of the sun hope you have all been making a profit.

The Godfather to be Griezmann’s undoing
Uruguay are one of my antepost selections and I haven’t been disappointed with what I have seen, what has surprised me is their fair play count as they have only picked up the one yellow card
Uruguay’s effectiveness between attacking and defending makes them one of the best teams I have seen at this World Cup and they have a big admirer in France forward Antoine Griezmann who says Uruguay is his second country and Uruguay defender Diego Godin is his daughters godfather,
Griezmann says “The way they play and their spirit remind me of my club: very tough at the back and lethal up front. To my mind, Edinson Cavani is the best striker. He works for the team, he’s always calling for the ball, and he never gives up on anything. And when he’s in the box, he just needs a touch or two to get a shot off.”
My opinion is that although France are strong on paper I am a bit wary of their actual form and the win against Argentina that saw them receive so many plaudits to me wasn’t as impressive as people think, it was only Argentina, a team I said would struggle to qualify.
Cavani could be missing but I would love to see Maxi Gomez come in, he probably won’t but this World Cup needs him and Uruguay would be better with him, when you look at Uruguay’s performances and really break down their game performance stats for players work rate and fitness levels, team tactics and performance data for example distribution between defence, midfield and attack
All In all Uruguay don’t have a weakness

If he’s out who was the young Uruguan lad that just signed for Celta Vigo you mentioned pre tournament?

If Cavani doesn’t start it looks like it will be Stuani.

Couldnt back saroog after seeing AT tipped at 9/4, but it was 4/1 lastnight, have no phone so missed a good opportunity there after it finished 7/4, well done all the same. On your others, 2/2 so far, heres hoping for the others ???
Put the clappers on it. Will never understand a ride like that though, can’t have wanted to win, why else race like that, unfathomable ( michele strogoff)
Another terrible ride from a claimer, has no clue it seems, tapping it with the whip softer than the ice cream i left out in the garden, had one hand on the horse as the johnson horse strolls by. Pro tip, do not back against those silver siks if franny of fanning are on bosrd.

Thanks everyone for the comments, good to see things going well for a while now, Golf, Football, Tennis, Horses, Snooker have all seen decent profits, some people say stick to what you are good at but why can’t someone be good at more than one sport
You can be good at as many as you like – if you have some knowledge of the sport and time to do the research.
JohnB exactly .. everyone here deserve a bit of luck sometimes … happy to see folks excited about tips been contributed on this forum on a daily basis … Hands down best free forum out there with excellent contributors by a country mile.
