CLASS can rise to the top in both divisions of the novices’ hurdle at Kempton.

HIGHWAY ONE O ONE (2.00) found the company too hot in the Imperial Cup at Sandown when down the field behind Mr Antolini, his first run in 74 days.

Previously, he had chased home Mister Malarkey over course and distance at the end of November before going on to win comfortably at Fontwell on Boxing Day. Harry Reed takes off a valuable 5lb.

DESTRIER (2.30) can also defy top weight in the second division. His fifth to Global Citizen in the Grade 2 Dovecote Novices’ Hurdle in February was a solid enough effort and Dan Skelton’s gelding had earlier scored at Wetherby and Leicester on softer ground.

AS I SEE IT (3.35) edged out odds-on Oakley Hall at Huntingdon, conceding 7lb, and repeat of that run will make him very competitive.

LET ME IN (7.15) has been placed every time over course and distance on his last three visits to Wolverhampton and should give his running once again. Stall two is a good pitch.

Recommended bets

  • Kempton 2.00 – Highway One O One (3-1, general)
  • Kempton 2.30 – Destrier (2-1, bet365)
  • Kempton 3.35 – As I See It (7-2, bet365)
  • Wolverhampton 7.15 – Let me In (10-3, bet365)

Full trottle my NAP too plugster 9-4.

Only ran under rules 4 times.
      Won this race last year.
3 wins and a 2nd under rules and the 2nd in January behind shotavodka is form worthy of winning this, had the likes of opening batsman, loughderra prince and Toby lerone behind in that race..
Apparently had wind op since after coming 4th in a point, don’t know the implications of that, but at 9 is young for a hunter so I see it as a positive if he has had breathing problems.
      Some form lines.
Another fancied horse argot beat rouge et blanc, 1 and a half lengths last time out. Number cruncher was pulled up in this race,
Full throttle beat rouge et blanc 20 lengths in the shotavodka race in January, and rouge et blanc was receiving 12 pounds that day.
2nd favourite diplomats sivola was purchased by Hobbs after falling over hurdles in France.
Question here is why is a 5 year old hunter chasing ??
Surely if he was any kop he would do the circuit first before turning to hunters.
Red devil lads won the last of his chases 3 years ago when running up a quick treble for Becky Curtis, then went to Ireland and won a hurdle last November but dissapointed in 2 recent chases and now running in hunters.
Most of forever my friends wins have been in summer/autumn in ground no worse than soft !., though has won here before, hasn’t ran since last august.
Baby sly another who hasn’t won on ground worse than soft under rules. But has been placed in last 7 starts under rules so may place.

If you followed well done and don’t forget to thank DC.
He has been very consistent for a good while which is the hallmark of a decent tipper, never seems to have many dry days on the bounce.

Hope trump wins for you later bud.

Second antepost selection for the Epsom Derby

    Nelson

After seeing this horse this year we were extremely taken by his presence and looks, his form is already good over distances that are not his best and he is a horse that will definitely improve a lot for the step up in distance, Nelson has a high cruising speed, stamina and looks well balanced which should make him an ideal candidate for the Derby,
on debut he was beat 4 3/4 lengths by stablemate Delano Roosevelt but he suffered bad interference twice, the first time he was knocked back to last place and the second time it brought him to a near standstill, it was an eye catching run
On his second start he was beat 2 3/4 lengths by Riyazan, he was caught for speed but stayed on well with a ride that that looked like there was plenty left in the locker, he then went to Leopardstown where he won his maiden with a bit to spare, Nelson then turned the tables on Riyazan and Delano Roosevelt in a brilliant front running display where he again had every rival off the bridle turning for home, crossing the line 3 lengths in front of Kew Gardens and with more left in the locker, he then finished his two-year-old career at Newmarket where he was 2nd beaten a neck by Roaring Lion who should have won by further but I really liked the way Nelson battled all the way to the line against a horse that is more suited to a mile than Nelson is,

by Frankel and out of Moonstone who won the Irish Oaks and was 2nd in the Epsom Oaks it’s a combination I like to give him that speed and stamina to make into a good prospect for the Derby, I am a big fan of Amedeo Modigliani and have been for a while but Nelson is a very lively contender at big odds

    Epsom Derby

    Nelson 33/1 paddy power

John, why has Magical drifted from 10/1 out to 25/1 in the oaks? Im starting to think Ive dobe my money once again.

Just a difference of opinion from bookies, still as short as 12/1, hills are 14/1, 365 are 16/1 and ladbrokes 20/1 & some 25/1
I always said she wouldn’t be seen at her best till stepped up in distance but her form is still good at distances too short for her, it’s not easy picking the Classic bets so early but since being on this site all my antepost bets on the five Classics that have run have all been in the first 3 with 4 winners and a third from 5 bets
