THERE is a pattern developing on Saturdays and while it started well and ended well it was a pretty ordinary day.
Celtic -2 AH landed the Super Single at 16-13 – and I did say they'd win 3-0 or 4-0 at St Johnstone.
I later added a second Super Single and that was Sampdoria draw no bet at 6-5 and again they did the business at 6-5.
Apart from that it wasn't great – the Top Treble and moneyback fivefold weren't close and the both to score trebles were beaten by one goal.
Bet of the Day won at 7-4 but I bombed the Betting Club challenge with a rash 33-20 selection having originally decided to go with Valencia.
Greg, Jordan and Desmond all posted winner so well done to them and everyone else.
Sunday really is Super Sunday in England with Chelsea v Man United preceded Man City v Arsenal as well as Spurs v Crystal Palace and Everton v Watford.
For the Super Single I'm on Man City -1 at 6-5 with betfair as I aim to maintain November's 100 per cent record. Chelsea v Man Utd looks a low-scoring draw.
Spurs should win but are short and may get a reaction after putting so much into beating Real Madrid. Everton left most of their first-choice players in the 3-0 defeat at Lyon so tiredness won't be an issue but lack of confidence is.
Watford let me down in losing at Stoke last weekend but I don't see them losing at Goodison and away from home they've been superb, winning three and drawing one with the only defeat coming at Chelsea when they could have nicked that one too. The Hornets are 4-5 with sportingbet not to lose.
There are 10 FA Cup ties to look at and in the Championship you have to fancy Middlesbrough to beat managerless Sunderland in the north-east derby. They are a best 8-11 at McBookie.
The one Scottish game sees Hearts entertain Kilmarnock in their final game at Murrayfield before moving back to Tynecastle. Killie under new boss Steve Clarke have drawn with Rangers and Celtic and while they lost 3-0 to Hibs in midweek by all accounts that was an unfair scoreline.
Watford and Killie not to lose are on a Top Treble with Middlesbrough to win.
I don't like backing against my own side and usually you can do only WDW bets on junior football in Scotland but today Clydebank face Pollok in the Sectional League Cup Final and McBookie have 32 markets – other firms feature the game too.
Pollok won a league meeting 4-0 last month and Bankies boss Kieran McAnespie went on to the supporters bus after last week's shock Scottish Junior Cup loss at Kennoway Star to apologise for the performance.

Would say the most competitive means the best. Also no one wants to see one team winning year in year out – like you do with Scottish Premiership (Celtic) & in La Liga (Barcelona or Real).
I have to laugh when I hear people calling the epl “the best league in the world”. That’s force fed sky tv talk. Probably the best 3 players on the planet play in the Spanish league. The current European and world champions play in the Spanish league. They then try and counter with “but any team can beat any team”, yeah and this season Real Madrid have lost to newly promoted Girona and at home to betis.
It has some cracking games but so it should when the clubs spend about half a billion quid or more every transfer window. Nowadays there’s a lot more duff games than good ones imo
