BIG game today is Man United v Spurs and Jose Mourinho could be driven out of town if he tries to park the bus.
United's sizzling start to the season is a distant memory and with injuries hitting hard the Portuguese boss has reverted to type.
He put up every obstacle possible to earn a 0-0 draw at Liverpool and did the same at Benfica in the Champions League where United scrambled a 1-0 win.
However, he'll incur the wrath of the Old Trafford faithful if he tries to stop Spurs today instead of focusing on his own side's strengths.
Since Paul Pogba was crocked United have gone off the boil and Mourinho blasted his players after last week's 2-1 loss at Huddersfield.
It was a shocker and Spurs must head to north confident of victory – even without talisman Harry Kane. They've looked brilliant at times recently – battering Borussia at Wembley, drawing away to Real Madrid and hammering Liverpool 4-1 last week.
Their record at Old Trafford is poor – two league wins in 28 years – but have a real chance this time and are a best 13-5 at McBookie. Without Kane though I'd keep the stalemate on side though and back Spurs draw no bet at 6-4 with Paddy Power.
The England captain has netted a 45 times this year and Pep Guardiola recently branded Spurs a one-man team. Stats disprove this though as the Londoners were unbeaten in eight games Kane missed last season – five wins and three draws.
I tipped Watford not to lose at Chelsea last week and they should have won. At 2-1 up they missed two golden chances then paid the penalty in a frantic finish.
The Hornets have been one of the stories of the season and I expected them to be odds on at home to fourth-bottom Stoke.
So a best price of 11-10 with McBookie was a nice surprise. The only explanation is Watford have been better away – just one win in four at home – but Stoke crashed to Bournemouth last week and have just one point on the road and conceded 12.
Liverpool won't attract many bets at a best 1-4 with sportingbet at home to Huddersfield. Jurgen Klopp's men have failed to land 13 times when odds on this year and face a side buoyed by last week's scalp of Man United.
Huddersfield sit just one point behind the Reds so Ladbrokes' 14-1 will tempt some and not to lose the Terriers are 15-4 with McBookie.
Arsenal and Chelsea are equally short at home to Swansea and at Bournemouth respectively but should live up to their billing. And leaders Man City are also cut to the bone.
With Alexandre Lacazette, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil starting together for the first time the Gunners blew away Everton 5-2 last week and should have the guile to see off a stuffy Swansea. Best bet is Arsenal and over 2.5 goals at 8-13 with boylesports.
Chelsea's previous two against Watford have totalled 12 goals and they could concede at Bournemouth. Their Premier League visits to the south coast have resulted in 3-1 and 4-1 wins and Chelsea and both to score pays 11-5 at William Hill.
Leaders Man City are a best 1-4 with the likes of McBookie at West Brom and that's understandable as they go for 13 wins in a row against the Baggies.
City have won their last three at the Hawthorns by a 10-1 aggregate and are rampant. Take them -2 Asian handicap at 4-3 with Unibet or the less risky to win and over 2.5 match goals at 8-11 with Ladbrokes.
In the Championship I like Hull and both to score at home to Nottingham Forest at 13-5 with bet365.
Oldham are unbeaten in seven and look big at 9-5 with Marathonbet at home to Scunthorpe and check out Forest Green in League Two.
They “vegan” team have lost one in five and can beat Morecambe – four defeats in five – at 6-5 with McBookie.
