MRF SiteOnFire

THE £10 to £100 challenges and others have proved popular here and on the main site.

And as part of our March Madness Giveaway I’ve decided to take on Gold and Silver members with real cash stake. Sa1nt was second to take me on and unfortunately we both fell at the first hurdle.

Any Gold or Silver member who wants to take me on next should simply comment here with their username or on the post on the main site. Pick wisely and read the rules carefully. Game 3 will start on Saturday and next up is jacksonator.

If he or she wins he scoops £100 or a £100 bet – and he will also be given the chance to go double or nothing on an even money chance if he reaches £100 first.

Rules

All selections must be priced 1-3 minimum and evens maximum.

Bets must be posted at least 15 minutes before event kicks off.

No inplay bets and one bet per day.

First bet is for Saturday, March 11 then on consecutive days.

All selections must be singles. No doubles of any sort – such overs and both to score or Barcelona to win and Messi to score.

No copying. That means if for example I pick Barcelona and vice versa my opponent must take a different game.

If my opponent reaches £100 before me by rolling over winning bets he or she will win £100. He or she can then choose to take the winnings or go double or quits on an even-money shot or above. If it’s above evens the prize will still be £200.

If he or she picks a losing bet they are out – if I pick a losing bet he or she is given the opportunity to carry on and try to break through the £100 barrier as I look on jealously.

A bit of a disaster with both of our bets going down on day one.

Also @mr-fixit does it have to be from a major league or can I choose anything as long as I can find a market for it on bet365 and it falls within the odds range?

jacksonator, can be anything you want if it’s in the rules. Good luck.
If it’s really obscure make sure you give full details of fixture, league and KO time.

Cheers MrFurious. Right I am posting my bet 1 for tomorrow now. Mrs Jacksonator is 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant so mini Jacksonator on the way any day now so getting on when I can. Had a few on the shortlist for tomorrow which were (using Bet365 prices):

    Solihull Win @ 4/11
    Sutton Utd win @ 2/5
    Porto – 1 @ 2/5
    PSV -1 @ 8/13

Porto and PSV should win and are very short price to do so but not a fan of backing teams on the handicap, if they start slowly and go one up sometimes there isn’t the urgency to press on. The lower league games also appealed with Solihull on a red hot form streak, but being the lower leagues I don’t know enough and couldn’t find much in terms of team news etc so have swerved for now. Queue all the above winning and my one selection losing…!

However the bet I am going for is:

*Everton v Chelsea (17:30 FA Cup) over 9 Total Match Corners* Current price 1/3 at Bet365 at time of posting.

    £10 to return £13.33

The minimum odds allowed but wanted to go for a (hopefully) safe bet to start. I’m a Chelsea fan and will be making the trip up to the game tomorrow. We have been dire this season but under Guus some players at least show some signs of being remotely interested. With this being our last chance at any success this season I can see Guus putting a strong side out – he also has a good affinity with the competition and will be keen to leave the Bridge with some silverware as he did in his first stint. I think the game should be an attacking one and therefore should see plenty of corners. Chelsea average 6.1 and 5.9 corners home and away this season in the league, and Everton average 7.1 and 5.1 home and away. With both teams hopefully going for it we should see the bet sail home. Good luck with your selection Mr F

    Good luck @Jacksonator and Paul.
Great wee comp to get folk signing up if they haven’t already done but you not think if someone completed it after you deserves even a free tenner?? It’d make it better but if you want to win the big ££ got to go for bigger prices when it comes down the line if you’re ahead, just a thought and liking the idea of double or nought.

Alves, pretty sure I’d smoke yi ?

Half time at Goodison and popped on here instead of having a pie haha. The game is a real battle so far not much free flowing football which means corners aren’t happening. In fact I think I can only remember one in the first half so looks like I will fall at the first hurdle ?

jacksonator, I’ll check later but how did the corners finish.
Obviously I was a goal short with Ayr so you could be on your own.
