FANS are likely to be serenading Serena Williams as she bids for a fifth women’s Wimbledon crown tomorrow.

The 30-year-old American, seeking a 14th Grand Slam title, is a biggest 1-6 at BetVictor to beat Pole star Agnieszka Radwanska who has been suffering with a sore throat.

Radwanska is the first Pole for 75 years to reach a Wimbledon singles final and the third seed is 5-1 at Stan James to notch a stunning win and rise to the top of the world rankings.

Williams walloped down a record 24 aces in her semi-final clash against Victoria Azarenka and if she repeats that kind of unstoppable serving it could prove to be the difference between the two players.

So it’s easy to see why the four-time SW19 winner is just 1-2 at bet365 to see off her rival in two sets while William Hill go 4-1 against Radwanksa making a game of it before going down
2-1.

Banker hunters can tackle Stan James’ 1-3 for Williams to bag the first service break and BetVictor rate the contest at 21-20 to contain at least 20 games.

In the handicaps Williams is an interesting 11-10 via Paddy Power to win when starting 5.5 games behind. A powerful display could see her coast through two sets racking up 12 games to six or less.

Meanwhile, Andy Murray is a massive underdog as he tries to make history by beating Roger Federer in tomorrow’s men’s final.

The Swiss six-time champion is generally available at 8-15 with the Scot 13-8 after his nailbiting victory Jo-Wilfried Tsonga last night.

William Hill predict if Murray wins that bookies will face a monster seven-figure payout. Murray is 11-10 with bet365 to win a Grand Slam this year and 9-4 to lift a major title before 2016.

He is 7-4 at McBookie.com for the Sports Personality of the Year prize but only a Grand Slam title this year will bring him the votes.

First time poster on here. Murray has NO chance against Fed on Sun. Not won a SET in 4 slam finals and he is playing the best player to pick up a racket. Furthermore, Fed loves the grass surface. Easy win for me. Either 3-0 or 3-1. Sorry guys but just stating the facts. 50% profit will do me in less than 3 hours. Good luck.

Joe, I’m not going to disagree with you. If Federer plays like he did against Djokovic no one cam beat him at Wimbledon. To have a chance Murray has to be at his best and Federer slightly off. I’d love to see Murray do it but will back Fed for a consolation, possibly 3-1.

Hope yer wrong bud! Course he’s got a chance. Negative cr@p like that dunt help. Gies a break!!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Guy, it ain’t “negative crap”. It’s reality. I’d love to see Murray win just as much as the next person but won’t be putting any money on it.

    • Guy 12 years ago

I was meaning joe’s negative cr£p Paul…anyone can put the boot inta Murray. give him some backing is what im saying to boys like Joe!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Guy, don’t think it matters what we say. It’s all about what Murray does on the court and let’s hope Lendl’s go him in perfect shape.

    • Guy 12 years ago

I think he can do it Paul…nothing to fear. Federer aint invincible..he was 2 sets down in an earlier round and is over 30 now…if Murray cn win one of the first 2 sets I think he can do it

Williams over 12.5 aces @ evens paddy power is me for the day lumped on

  3. Joe 12 years ago

Paul, William Hill are offering 5/6 for Serena to get over 10.5 aces in todays final. Considering she has 85 aces in 6 matches so far, it looks a banker. Do u think it is worth a punt? Or is that just a silly bet? Seems like easy money to me!!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Joe, it’s never easy money. Williams is certainly capable of hitting that number of aces. Take a stab at the scoreline, work out how many service games you think she’ll have then do the sums. Probably an ace a game is achievable.

I cant remember such a one sided womens final betting wise. I agree Serena should win 2-0 but can it be that much of a rout? Serena is a monster on grass but radwanska has played really well and is ranked third in the world. I took Radwanska +5.5 games on the handicap @ evens. This covers even 6-3 6-4 which is two serena breaks while holding all her own. Radwanska only dropped one set in 6 matches (albeit weaker side of draw) against kirilenko. Looking forward to watching either way.

Joe, bookies definitely afraid of Williams and happy to take money on Radwanska. The Pole has done well to get to the final but struggled in the semis and much depends on if her illness has taken the edge of her game. It could be an easy straight-sets win or maybe Radwanska will surprise us and push Williams all the way.

Regarding murray i gotta agree with joe. I would love murray to win his first major tomorrow but cant see it. Federer -1.5 sets looks the bet. Just hope murray brings his a-game and keeps serving like he has been. As paul says if federer has an off day murray has a chance.

Haven’t posted on here in ages, is it just me who can’t wait till the new English/Scottish leagues start back up! Lumped on Williams -5.5 just for a bit of entertainment first bet since I bet on Dzagoev in the second euro game! Breezed throug to the final of the singles and doubles! She’s got this handicap in the bag!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Badham, could do with Williams covering that handicap. As far as the start of the season goes I’m looking forward to a couple of quiet weeks after the Euros so I’m in no rush. However, I won’t be doing much with the friendlies.

this weathers horrendous at grand prix, still unsure whether to bet but may stick outsiders in due to rain perez and rosburg ew a hink, also 7/1 and 9/2 for podium fibish

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Craig, not a massive GP fan so it’s not a sport I bet on.

  8. Joe knotts 12 years ago

Looks like u (and the bookies) were right paul. Embarrassingly one sided final. Sue Barker would give serena a harder game!!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Joe, Radwanska’s a good player but lacks power to compete with Williams on grass. Ace bets might come up for those who did them.

    • Guy 12 years ago

youre back in with a shout now Joe…if it goes to 4-4 yer a winner!…thats a positive bet rather than taking Willims to steamroll her…Hope u win!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Joe, what a shocker from Williams. Commentators blaming nerves but she should have had that one wrapped up.

  9. David paterson 12 years ago

Stuck £10 on radwanska at 9/1 before when it was 5-4 second set.

  10. Joe knotts 12 years ago

After first set and break down u cuda named ur own price for radwanska to win second set! Handicap still in the mix as u say guy. PS i would love murray to win. Odds are against him but he has a fighting chance and i will be cheering him on every point!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Joe, handicap bet came up in the end and those aces bets too. The only good thing about Radwanska winning a set was that I was able to cover my 2-0 loss with money on Williams to win at 4-9. Five minutes later she was 1-33 so in tennis inrunning bets can be missed in the blink of an eye.

  11. David paterson 12 years ago

Got her to break to deuce or to 30 in game 2 3rd set. 2seperare bets

  12. David paterson 12 years ago

    Radwanska that is haha

  13. Joe 12 years ago

Look. Let’s gets this straight. I want and will be willing Murray on tom. However, as this is a BETTING forum I am very, very confident of a Federer win. I am not posting negative personal views about Murray. Just stating that I will have the kitchen sink on Fed express at 8/15. Let’s hope I’m proved wrong.

    • Guy 12 years ago

Fair play to you if thats what ya think Joe. Nobody gave this Radwanska hope an hour ago and I feel Murray has a much better chance than she had?

  14. Guy 12 years ago

Not a big horses man, the odd time but stuck a tenner double on two of Frankie Dettori runners last night after quaffing 2li bottles of Sician wine..haha.. Falls of Lora and Farrh…F of L won at 14/1 but Farrh beat half a length 2nd at 11/4…spewer!! ;-((…see if theres any more drink in the cupboard! ;-)

  15. craig alves 12 years ago

does anyone know how many aces theres bn so far, a took 18 in whole game.
gotta be cheerin on underdog radwanska tho.
got a double wi botofago the night and other brazillian team last for evs ch to try to boost bank balance for end month, apparently seedorf flyin into stadium in chopper for his new club.

  16. Joe knotts 12 years ago

Craig serena hit 16. Dunno total but will be over 18 am sure.

  17. craig alves 12 years ago

got 18 up on twitter comp wi SJ, prob alot of entries but will find out the mora. 16 serena 2 radwanska

  18. Joe 12 years ago

Fair enough Guy. I hope I’m wrong. Sincerely want Murray to do it. Just a shame that he is playing the best player that has ever lived! If he plays his very best he has a chance. My heart tells me he will do but my head and my wallet tell me otherwise!!

  19. Joe knotts 12 years ago

Serena smashed the handicap in the end. Terrible start with no confidence was killer for the pole. Does ladbrokes take ginger bottles? :)

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Joe, reckon the bookies will take any currency going. I managed to come out of the game up but 2-0 would have been great.

  20. craig alves 12 years ago

according to SJ there was 19 aces, only 1 out but checked at end of game, williams must got another ace in last couple of points.

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Craig, u were unlucky then. As I said earlier the over 10 and over 12 aces in the match bets were good as long as there were enough games. Looked early on like she’d win 6-1 6-3 or something like that and aces bets would have been down. She hit six aces in seven points near the end which was amazing.

  21. Badham 12 years ago

    This doubles final is unreal!
