We start again with an update on the wellbeing of Mr Fixit and we're sad to say there's no improvement in Paul's condition.
With the agreement of his family we can share a wee bit more information; Paul took ill at home, early on Saturday morning whereupon he was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he continues to be cared for by the wonderful staff in the intensive care unit.
All the team here at MrFixitsTips are deeply concerned for our friend, colleague and leader. Our thoughts go out to Paul and his family at this very difficult time and we are keeping them all in our prayers.
It's been a difficult week so far but the response from everyone on the site and messages of support for Paul have provided great comfort to his wife and family. Thank you.
We know that there are a lot of people who visit and rely on this site every day so we took the decision to continue as normally as we can in Paul's absence. A heartfelt thanks to everyone for keeping things ticking over by sharing all your tips.
We'll keep you as informed as we can on Paul's condition in the coming days, but once again, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers today.

Do you keep your winnings rolling or bank them each time?
Morning pal – just keep working from a central betting bank using the star rating as layout for each stake.
Problem is with ‘rolling on’ your winnings, you will ride the wave with the winners but will inevitably 100% guaranteed lose it all on one loss…then repeat the cycle!
Much better to have a designated sum in the betting bank and then religiously stick to some kind of stake regulation based on however you calculate confidence.
If that makes sense!
Makes total sense and is what I tend to do also, however with the number of guys recently tipping winning ‘evens ‘ (or there abouts) tips, I wondered about doing a bet challenge. Setting a target then sticking to evens (ish) odds.
Nothing wrong with challenge bets – they are very popular on the site – although it did get clogged up with them at one point a few years ago ?
Again, as long as the stakes are manageable/controlled and a % of winnings banked each time you reach a designated ‘goal’, they can work – Nathan, Kelly, Mr F and more have had plenty of success.

Why is it that most celtic fans and ex players say this about lennon and that about lennon. But none of them say that the players are just not good enough. Its really that simple. They don’t say it because the exact same players have won the last 11 trophies in a row and are going for 12. A lot of Celtics recent titles were won when Rangers weren’t competing in the Scots Prem so there was no competition,Rangers dominating now.
Sean said 11 trophys in a row not titles. Celtic are going for the 12th consecutive trophy in the last 4 previous seasons, all of which the resurected rangers were competing in the premier league. They were also competing in 5/9 seasons in which Celtic have won the second 9 in a row.
There’s big difference between Lennon and Rodgers and that shows when it comes to the players. The likes of McGregor and Brown improved as players under Rodgers where as now they don’t look as good. The fractions are the odds fix. Some countries and people use decimal odds, some use fractions. 22/5 means if you stake 5, you’ll receive 22 back plus your 5. For a 2/7 shot if you placed 7 units you’d receive 2 back plus your 7, so it’s a much shorter bet. Most bookmakers allow you to switch between whatever your preference to use is.
