There's some tasty last-16 ties in the EFL Cup tonight, with a Welsh derby between Wrexham and Cardiff City taking top billing.
There has been a shift in power in Wales, with three successive promotions taking Wrexham into the Championship while former Premier League side Cardiff now find themselves in League One.
Hollywood money is the main reason for that and the Bluebirds will be desperate to give Ryan Reynolds and Co a bloody nose by marching into the quarter finals.
Wrexham vs Cardiff City top betting tips
Managers often rest players for EFL Cup ties but I doubt that will happen tonight with both teams desperate to win this derby.
Cardiff's form has been mixed, with three wins and three defeats in their last six, while Wrexham have lost just one of their last eight.
That's why the home side are 13/10 favourites with BOYLE Sports and that price looks decent, provided Phil Parkinson fields a strong side.
The wisest option for punters is probably going for cards as tackles usually fly in during a derby. Over 3.5 cards only pays 8/11 at Bet365 but backing both teams to get two or more cards is better value at 11/8.
Grimsby Town vs Brentford top betting tips
Brentford are flying in the Premier League and they will be hoping that momentum can now carry them into the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.
Impressive wins over Manchester United, West Ham and Liverpool inside the last month have fired the Bees to within three points of the top five.
But they will still be wary of a shock as they take on EFL Cup giant killers Grimsby Town.
The Mariners famously claimed the scalp of Manchester United at Blundell Park then followed it up by knocking out Sheffield Wednesday.
BOYLE Sports reckon that glory run will stop in the last 16 as they make Grimsby 7/1 outsiders tonight.
Brentford are just 2/5 but you can boost their odds to evens by backing them at -1 in the handicap.
Grimsby won six corners in their win over United while Brentford have racked up 15 flag kicks across their last two games. So over 10.5 corners looks worth a punt tonight at 21/20 with BOYLE Sports.
Wycombe Wanderers vs Fulham
The other EFL Cup tie tonight sees Fulham head to Wycombe Wanderers looking to spark their season to life with a much-needed victory.
Marco Silva's men have lost four in a row to drop down to fourth bottom in the Premier League.
They now face a Wycombe side in decent form, with the League One side losing just one of their last eight fixtures.
But Fulham should have too much class for a team playing two divisions below them and I fancy them to be winning at half-time and full-time, which pays 11/8 at BOYLE Sports.
Wycombe should have a go in front of their own fans and over 3.5 home corners also looks decent value at 20/21 with the same firm.
