IT was a day of mixed fortunes – and one lovely win.
My four aways came up at just over 28-1 with unibet thanks to Reading – who were also my Super Single – Middlesbrough, Motherwell and Stenhousemuir.
And I've got to thank Dr Goals Kenny Deuchar. If the experienced striker hadn't signed for Stenny on Friday I'd never have considered them to win at Forfar.
It was four out of five on my five to follow line as I went for a 44-1 biggie. Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Aldershot and Stenny did the business but I was let down by Hibs who were held 0-0 at home to Motherwell.
However, anyone taking my advice to perm any four and all five still profited from a 22-1 fourfold.
There were also small profits on my two both teams to score line exclusively for the site. As I'm prone to do I picked four our of five right.
Chelsea let me down for the English line by failing to score at West Brom while Falkirk failed to net at Ayr.

I wasn’t brave enough to go for them all but was happy with a Reading – Boro double. Also took Reading as a Super Single.

Eric, you’re quite right to stick to a double if that’s what you’re confident with. At the end of the day it’s about winning, not losing, whatever the odds. Got to say though Stenny were my bet of the day after the signings they made on Friday and were second choice to Reading for the Super Single.
