Hearts will feel they could’ve had an easier draw in their Europa Conference League qualifier after landing Rosenborg but they should have plenty of hope of qualifying if they can come home from Norway without too much damage being done tonight.
The most successful club in Norway are in somewhat of a lull and the bookies make the Jambos 7/10 favourites to qualify from the tie.
It’s 15 years since the Trondheim club last rubbed shoulders with Europe’s elite in the Champions League group stages and it’ll be five years since they were last champions of Norway – their longest drought since the early 80s.
In those five years their third placed finish in Eliteserien last term is the best they’ve mustered and they currently find themselves languishing in 8th place having lost as many as they’ve won with less than half the season to go.
There for taking? The Jam Tarts have to believe so.
But Steven Naismith’s men don’t have a formidable European pedigree to speak of. Six points from two wins over Latvian opposition was all they had to show from last season’s Conference League adventures. They did show some mettle to get past FC Zurich in last season’s play-off round, winning away from home in the first leg before sealing the deal at Tynecastle.
Naismith will be targeting keeping RBK within touching distance which could see him go more defensive from the outset, there’s plenty of time to throw caution to the wind. RBK have netted just 23 times in 18 league matches and just eked past Crusaders who qualified for Europe by winning the Northern Irish Cup so Hearts will be tasked with keeping them quiet for as long as possible.
Under 2.5 goals pays even money and no goals at half-time is 2/1 but a safer bet might be fort he game to be level after the first 45 which is a 6/5 shot – a decent option in a game that should be tight.
Hibs will be out recapture the scoring form that saw them put six past Andorran opposition last week after their momentum was stalled at the weekend in a 3-2 home defeat to St Mirren.
Lee Johnson will be pleased that there seems to be goals in this Hibees side and it could be an entertaining match against Lucerne at Easter Road tonight.
The Swiss side finished 4th in the table last term and qualified against Djurgårdens to set up tonight’s tie. They scored in both legs and with Hibs already showing some defensive frailties this season it could pay to back goals in the capital.
If last night's match at Ibrox, where Rangers struggled to a 2-1 over 10-man Swiss side Servette, is to be a barometer then this might not be a walk in the park for the Hibees.
With 15 goals scored in Hibs opening three matches of the season Over 2.5 goals looks likely at 8/11. Over 3.5 also appeals at 7/4.
You can double Over 2.5 at Easter Road with Bodo/Glimt to score two or more against Pyunik Yerevan. The Eliteserien league leaders always have goals in them and should be capable of at least two against their Armenian opponents

Thursday sees the return of the Racing League at Chepstow and Rizzel has picked out three fancies for the evening meeting.
As ever, please share your tips in for today in the comments section below.
Early one for Saturday
Arsenal
Brighton
Falkirk
Nearly 3/1 hills with a boost.
Qarabag corners could be the shout tonight against Helsinki side that lost the corner count in their first 2 European aways this season 8-2 in Larne & 10-1 in Molde. Even against Larne at home they drew 4-4 on corners while they lost the corner count 7-2 in the 1-0 home win over Molde.
Waiting for prices on over 6 team corners at Hills(8/11 Skybet) but might have too throw in a home goal to get too Evens or above while 2 home goals could also be an option to reach a desired price as HJK lost 2+ goals & 7+ corners away at both Larne & Molde in the 2 previous qualifiers
B365. Both teams over 9
1/1
-3.5 corners at evens with LiveScore Bet
Looks good The Master. Qarabag are a step up from Larne i reckon and they beat them 8-2 on corners at home
With extra added on minutes and harsher penalties for dissent, cards could be the way to go in the Premier League this season.
I have clocked a Paddy Power special for there to be at least one yellow card in every game this season. I just think with the guidelines and additional time in games increase the chances of avoiding non carded games.
at least one yellow card in each Premier League game 50/1, Paddy Power
Sounds good in principle, but there are 380 Premier League fixtures in a season.
You only need 1 game to have no cards and you are stuffed. There’s a very good reason it’s 50/1 😉
Any other card specials that anyone finds if you could let me know :)
A better day yesterday than in recent days.

Well played yesterday pal, good times when theres more green than red 👌
Cheers mate. Yeah been a rough last week so nice to get back in good profit again. Would have been even better had Murray won in straight sets but shouldn’t complain.
Harry Kane joins Bayern for 95 million.
Anyone told Kane he’ll need to learn to speak German? 🤣
thought real madrid would have been in there.
after watching them against barca, they looked a bit short up front.
benzema gone, less 20 goals a season
Needs to get to grips with speaking English first 🤷🏽♂️🤣
Not just yet apparently, just a bid has been accepted according to sky sports and now he will decide… 🤞🙏
Would be pretty crazy not to leave in my opinion. As his age and not looking likely to win anything at Spurs I’m sure he will want to be remembered for his goals and not someone who never won a trophy. Should be nailed on to win the league and cup next season at Bayern and will at least be playing in the champions league. As others have said above seeing Kane trying to speak German would also be hilarious, will be like that time Steve MCclaren went all dutch 🤣
Great signing for BAYERN .Most of the players in that league speak English.
Might want to retract that! Kane will stay
Jurgen Klopp next manager to leave 28/1 skybet
Fiver says Michael Beale leaves Rangers before Klopp leaves Liverpool
I don’t care if Beale leaves Rangers it won’t effect my bet.
Rangers keep playing like that Beale will be shown the door all right. No pace in that team notice how the corners aint coming in now..
Why?
Maccathered,
Hi mate, Hope all is well.
Fear this bet has substance, unfortunately as a red.
Mint…
All is good mint hope your well Pal,
As a red I’d be gutted to see him go but FSG aren’t exactly giving him the ammunition to compete with City. A team as big as Liverpool should not be starting the season with no defensive midfielder. Liverpool did well to get the prices they did for Hendo and Fab given their age but the recruitment to replace them has been shambolic up to now, unless they go all in 100 million for Caciedo Klopp is going to be livid.
Just the one play for me from Poland today.
WTA Kozerki
Yastremska v Martincova Over 7.5 Breaks of Serve 1.83, Bet365
Will be back later with my plays from Canada.
Best of luck all
Card candidate for tonight,Columbian defender Daniel Muñoz who plays for Genk away at Olympiacos tonight. The big defender has collected 62 yellows in 251 career club appearances, last season he collected 13 yellows in 39 appearances for Genk and collected a yellow card in the away leg of the CL qualifier against Servette. He also has 5 yellows and a red in 19 international appearances
No prices as of yet, hopefully better than last nights 17/10 Duiline

nothing crazy 3£
Well that was nice and easy for a change as 8 breaks of serve lands at just 1-1 in the 2nd set.
Yastremska v Martincova Over 7.5 Breaks of Serve 1.83, Bet365 ✅
Early one for Toronto as I can’t understand the low lines & will likely change.
Giron Over 1.5 Breaks of Serve 2.0, Bet365
Paul Over 2.5 Breaks of Serve 2.25, Bet365
Think of all the matches on the men’s side today in Toronto this has the best chance for a good number of breaks. A lot of Giron’s matches over the last few weeks have seen a lot of swings in momentum, similar to Paul last week in Mexico & in both of his matches so far this week. Despite being underdog in this one Giron does lead the head to head 3-1 although the last match was back in 2021. I expect to see quite a lot of baseline rallies as neither player has a particularly big serve. Even with a straight sets win these could both land if the sets are close. I was tempted by the over 3.5 breaks of serve at 1.83 but for that to land one of these selections will need to win. This allows the extra assurance in case one player wins easily. Still think there is a good chance both win though.
Will be back later for my NAP and NB.
Best of luck all today
You got a read on the vondrousova vs guaff match? I want to pull the trigger on von but see her odds drifting
Difficult match to call a winner to be honest. I would slightly lean towards Gauff but she may be fatigued from winning Washington, although she won every match there in straight sets so shouldn’t really be an issue. If I had to make a play in that match it would probably be the over 21.5 games but will likely just be a watch for me.
Thanks for the reply. Guaff now the favourite, think i might leave it alone
3pm – Tobol v Derry City. btts 19/20,Hearts and Hibs to lose + Bodo . 11/1. Bway.
Despite the rise in interest rates, anyone happy to lock their cash away until June can get 60pc on their money by backing Celtic for the league. After watching Rangers labour at the weekend and then struggle again tonight, it is a shoe in, and that’s coming from a Rangers fan. Beale has bought a lorryload of bang average players and I can’t see anyone who is going to get goals. Cantwell will likely bail in January too, a sorry mess. If anyone can get odds on Kyogo top scorer with Celtic to be champions I would be getting on.
Kyogo is a risky bet due to his injury record. Cracking player but seems to be made of glass.
Made of glass? He played in 50(44 starts) games last season including 36 of 38 league games starting in 31 of them & scored 34 goals all in
The wee mans fine, niggling shoulder problem but he is able too play through it
One play for the first match in Montreal which is due to start shortly.
ATP Toronto + WTA Montreal
Medvedev win x Pegula 2-0 1.87, William Hill (NB)
Pegula leads the head to head 3-0 winning all in straight sets. Only 1 of the sets in those matches was close. On a fast hard court this should really heavily favour the American. The Paolini serve is pretty weak so like her previous match Pegula is likely to get multiple chances to break. The conditions in Toronto should really lean to Medvedev. Musetti should have lost in straight sets yesterday and I can’t see the much better Medvedev being so generous.
Will post my other plays below this shortly.
Final plays today:
Hurkacz Over 8.5 Games 1.85, William Hill (NAP)
A slight risk this one as a lot is based on Hurkacz serving well but willing to take the chance. Now Isner & Raonic are on the decline Hurkacz is the strongest server on tour. That was in evidence by his display against Djokovic at Wimbledon. Alcaraz is one of the best 1st serve returners in the game but even he will likely find it tough in these fast conditions. There is also the possibility of some rustiness still in the Alcaraz game as he has not played much since winning Wimbledon. Shelton pushed Alcaraz last night to a tie break and there was only 1 break of serve throughout the match. They have played each other once before in much slower conditions in Miami last year with Alcaraz winning 7-6 7-6. There were no breaks of serve in that match although Alcaraz has improved since then. So long as Hurkacz serves as well as he normally does there is every chance he can make this match a lot closer than the odds suggest.
