MONDAY tends to be when I focus on the youth and development leagues and we have a cracker in the SPL.

I rave about Ross County and Hibs but not far behind are Hearts who are winning games and scoring for fun.

Falkirk u20 v Hearts u20 (2pm)

27 points separate these two with Falkirk rooted to the bottom and Hearts flying high 11 places above them in third. Hearts have won 9 of their last 11 but interestingly they aren’t too clever defensively – the fact they have kept just three clean sheets in their last 40 matches shows that. (conceded 2, 2, 1, 3, 2 in their last 5 games, winning 4 of them).

They are scoring goals though, 15 in their last 5 games and play a Falkirk side who have lost 12 of their last 15 games (2 draws and a solitary win the other three). The young Bairns have had some hammerings this season and I don’t see them keeping out the rampant Jambos. Thought about Hearts -1 but given they always concede going for goals.

  • Back over 3.5 match goals
  • (will be around 5-6 inplay with bet365) (NAP)
