Bristol City
On the face of it Bristol City don't look like they've much to play for between now and the end of the season but early in to his tenure as boss at Ashton Gate, Nigel Pearson will be keen to build some momentum to take in to next season and the signs are promising.
Three wins and draw from their last six matches is a vast improvement on the seven losses prior to that.
They host a Rotherham side in a bit of disarray. Manager Paul Warne will miss the trip, having to isolate and without him the dugout his side fell to their heaviest defeat to the season, a 4-1 loss to Watford, in midweek.
They're mired in a relegation battle and although they have up to four games in hand on teams around them it'll be really test of their squad, which is already showing signs of creaking, in the coming weeks.
Burton Albion
Burton Albion have been flying under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, suffering just one defeat (W7 D1 L1) in their last nine. The one defeat was to in-form Sunderland so no real shame in that.
They welcome Russel Martin MK Dons, themselves in a decent run of form following wins at home to Accrington and Plymouth.
Albion have been priced up at almost 2/1 (15/8) to win here and that just looks too big to ignore when they're in the best form of the season against an MK Dons side who have shipped 10 goals in their last three away matches.
Queen of the South
Last week's 2-0 defeat to Alloa aside, Queen of the South remain the form team in the Championship. That 2-0 loss was only their second since Boxing Day and the two red cards dished out have subsequently been rescinded.
Allan Johnston will be hoping his team can respond in the same way they did to their last defeat, by going on a run of wins.
Morton have made a shrewd appointment with Gus McPherson taking the reigns recently at Cappielow but he needs to turn around their form quickly. They notched a valuable win away at struggling Inverness a few weeks ago but defeat to Dunfermline last week brough them back dow to earth.
Just 17 goals scored in 25 matches highlight part of Morton's problem this season and Queen of the South have proven to have more firepower in recent weeks, scoring 10 in their last four.
Clyde
The Bully Wee had been a mjor disppointment in League 1 prior to the break so they'll be hoping to restart with a win against an East Fife side who have lost their last seven away from home.
On his day David Goodwillie is the best striker in teh division and Danny Lennon has rung some changes since Clyde last played with no fewer han six players potentially making their debut today.
The fact we can get Clyde at 13/8 appeals.
